Yuya-Kun
Pot of GreedNormal SpellDraw 2 Cards, then banish 1 card from your Hand face-down. In a nutshell it's a better but worse Desires, you get a +1, and lose hand advantage, so basically, Hand destruction but with less of a cost. Ryusei the Morning Star
That ruins the spirit of PoG, how about you keep with the lore and instead have an anti-search clause. I don't believe there was ever an occasion when someone drew and searched the turn they activated PoG
Darj
That's not a +1, is a +0, since you gain 2 cards but spend 2: the banished card and the Spell itself. And it doesn't feel really fair when it is almost a generic Allure of Darkness. I say "almost" because some decks can take advantage of the banished DARK, but they are scarce so it isn't a significant difference. I think White is on the right track in that it should preserve Pot of Greed's essence of drawing 2 cards as a +1, but instead hold it back with some kind of drawback. Locking searches for the rest of the turn as White suggested sounds like a good idea: it prevents search-happy decks from going too fast if they choose to run this card, while it benefits decks that have little to no searching power.
