Effect: 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters

When this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; that monster’s ATK and DEF become 0 until your opponent’s next Stand-by Phase. If this card destroys a monster with 0 ATK: Halve the battle damage your opponent would take from this battle. Once per turn, during either player’s turn: If a card or effect would activate that would destroy a card(s) on your side of the field; you can discard 1 card, and if you do; negate that activation and destroy that card.

For the most part, card is fine. At the very least, you can soften up an opposing monster and get heavy damage on it afterwards. I'm a bit skeptical about why the halved damage thing exists, though I think it's there to prevent this from doing 2500 damage with guarantees [though it doesn't stop OTHER monsters from hitting for full damage, so suppose it's just a setup for them]. Protection is always nice though, despite the prevalence of non-destructive removal (Quaking Mirror Force, Castel, 101, Kaiju [well, you can't chain to them anyway], etc.); suppose it blocks Raigeki attempts and the like. 

 

Only major gripe is why any damage input against 0 ATK 'mons are halved, but yeah, card is okay.
