To answer your question about the notice, when you post an image, the URL must end with a valid file extension (.jpg, .png, .gif). If you right-click for the image location, which you did here, that renders out a long URL.

 

Instead, open Imgur (or any image host) of choice; copy/paste that link and it should render a new URL that ends properly.
