Twizzle 60
I've been playtesting Mythic Radiance (recently dubbed "Phantasm Spiral") for a while now and have really come to appreciate the deck. Not only do I have a bit of experience playing the deck, but i'm also eager enough for further support that i've decided to create my own. Nothing made here is set in stone; i'm very happy to receive advice & general feedback whether it concerns the wording of the cards or their potential 'brokenness'.Currently I've made 3 cards: A monster, spell, and a trap. Prime Phantasm Spiral DragonLevel 8 | Water | Wyrm / EffectThis card is always treated as Normal Monster. This card is treated as "Phantasm Spiral Dragon" while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. You can Normal Summon this card without Tributing, but its original ATK will become 1900. If a "Phantasm Spiral" card(s) you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can discard this card instead. ATK 2900 / DEF 2900 https://imgur.com/a/Fp4wj Phantasm Spiral Rebirth Spell | EquipEquip only to a Normal Monster. When this card is activated: Add 1 of your banished "Phantasm Spiral" cards to your hand. When your opponent activates a card or effect while all monsters you control are Normal Monsters (min. 1): You can Special Summon 1 "Phantasm Spiral Dragon" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, and if you do equip this card to it. You can only use each effect of "Phantasm Spiral Rebirth" once per turn. https://imgur.com/a/yhS0g Phantasm Spiral Awakening Trap | CounterIf all monsters you control are Normal Monsters (min. 1): Negate the activation of 1 Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls and if you do, destroy it. You can only activate this effect of "Phantasm Spiral Awakening" once per turn. If "Umi" is on the field, you can activate this card from your hand. You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 Normal Monster you control; this turn, it is unaffected by your opponent's Spell effects.https://imgur.com/a/SZY3Y All Imageshttps://imgur.com/a/dwZK6 Brief AnalysisPrime Phantasm Spiral Dragon: Can only be summoned from the graveyard by the equip cards, so it doesn't fully replace the new vanilla. Can be searched by the field and can protect the field (works similarly to Psy-Frame Threader.) Can also be searched by the field, summoned, and trigger the field (works similarly to Beast King Barbaros,) allowing you to gain advantage.Phantasm Spiral Rebirth: Allows you to recycle your traps after they're banished. Useful in mid-late game when your grave is already filled, or even early game if you're willing to pre-emptively banish your traps to regain advantage. While the secondary effect isn't as OTK focused as other "Phantasm Spiral" equip spells, it's still quite useful in a slower stun-variation of the deck.Phantasm Spiral Awakening: Whilst any searchable negation card is inherently very powerful, I would personally only maindeck 2 copies to avoid unnecessary bricks. Downsides when compared to "Phantasm Spiral Battle" are you can only activate 1 per turn, and since it's a counter trap it won't trigger potential Paleozoic monsters in graveyard. The grave effect is quite easy to activate, thereby making "Phantasm Spiral Rebirth" live as fast as possible. Lastly, it protects your field from being completely screwed over by raigeki or slumber, and helps against other miscellaneous spell cards. And that's all of the support ;D thanks so much for checking out this page / bothering to read up to this point. Please hit me up with any feedback! Flash Flyer - Sakura
In this case, you should've made a new thread because it's been 8 months since this was last posted in; and CC rules permit up to 2 months given corrections. So yeah...feel free to redo it, but I have to lock this.
