Hybrid Cards [WRITTEN]

Hello, fine peoples!

 

I'll admit, I didn't come up with either the name or the idea of this type of card on my own, but the name really sticks with what it is, so yeah.

 

For those who aren't familiar, Konami's "Battle Pack" series has one rule that sets it apart from normal duels. That rule is this: "every monster is treated as every monster type". This means that if you use an equip card that only works for warriors, say, you could freely use it on any monster while playing using the battle pack rules.

 

With that said, the "hybrid" type is just that, a conglomeration of all current card types in existence. Here's a couple cards to illustrate:

 

Changeling Grinn

Whatever shape this decomposite takes, it always does so with a grin.

All creatures fear this otherworldly entity as the embodiment of death.

They may be Normal monsters, but being a hybrid card is all the effects they could ever need. Searchable by any type-specific searcher, recoverable by any type-specific recovery, and powered by any type-specific cards, these cards have a ton of in-built support and thus all the potential in the world.

 

I'll add some more cards later, but this is just something to chew on right now.
