When this card from your Main Monster Card Zone is destroyed (either by battle or by card effect), target 1 monster your opponent controls: take control of the targeted monster, then, equip this card to the targeted monster. The equipped monster can attack directly but battle damage is halved if the equipped monster attacks using this effect. If this card equipped to a monster leaves the field, return control of that monster to your opponent, then, that monsters ATK and DEF become 0.

So G:Host basically takes control of your opponents monster when its destroyed and equipped itself to that monster, in addition it gives that monster the ability to attack directly for halve of its ATK and when it return to your opponent its ATK and DEF become 0 meaning the monster becomes a threat them but almost useless when it returns to them.
