ABC Gun
(Artwork for this card done by https://naturaljuice.deviantart.com/) An overall anti-meta warrior (of course you can use rota to search her), this card flat-out hates both players' hands and can negate the activation of any card that would add cards to the hand, including drawing, then she Special Summons herself. While she is Special Summoned from the hand, either by her effect or another card's effect, she gains ATK by the total number of cards in both hands, and she prevents both players from Special Summoning monsters from the hand, for any reason.Cannot be Special Summoned, except with its own effect. If either player's card/effect that adds any cards to their hand from the Main Deck, Graveyard, face-up in their Extra Deck, or among their banished cards, and including drawing cards is activated while this card is in your hand (except during the Damage Step): You can negate the activation, and if you do; Special Summon this card. While Special Summoned from the hand, this card gains ATK equal to the total number of cards in each player's hands x 100, also neither player can Special Summon monsters from their hand. Black D'Sceptyr
Hmm...proto-Ghost Ash effect to Summon itself (that's already a guaranteed side.), mini-Slifer effect on the field, and keeps Pendulums/most Rituals/Kozmos at bay? HAVE ALL OF MY MONEY, AND TWO OF MY KIDS, you glorious powercreeped Denko Sekka. 1900 ATK too-goodness, almost makes me wanna re-unlimit Pot of Greed, just to laugh in my opponent's face. Seriously, this is effectively going in the slots of every Deck that once held Collection of Eyes and Lint that We Somehow Called an Insect #1. Forget the Maxx "C" Challenge, have this Bird's Grace Beatdown! don't you push me I know my way out you wolverines. Anyways, great card.
Darj
This card is unfair. Not only it is a semi-Ghost Ash that instead of being a -1~0 (-1 when negating an effect of a card that remains on the field), it goes the other way around by becoming a +0~1, also it comes with a high ATK for a Level4 Effect Monster plus the ATK boost, AND as if that wasn't enough, its Special Summon lock can potentially stop the opponent from performing Synchro or Xyz follow-up plays. Oh, also it is searchable by ROTA so you can grab it for the mind games or pressure the opponent just by letting hi/her know you got this on hand. Yeah, this does too many good things. Darj
Locking yourself from Special Summoning from the hand doesn't hurt as much as the opponent's since you get the chance during your turn of setting up your board. It's like how Vanity's Emptiness is so good despite effecting both players: you mainly used to stop the opponent from answering or coming back. Not to mention that you are still able Summon from the Extra Deck so you can use this card as material for a Summon and remove the lock yourself to follow up with Special-Summon-from-hand plays, while the opponent doesn't get that option. Even if the summon lock is bound to her inherent summoning effect, it is still really good.
