When this card is Link Summoned, destroy all monsters your opponent controls. When your opponent activates a Spell/Trap card, you can tribute 1 Monster you control that's linked to this card; negate the activation of that card and destroy it, then, inflict 800 points of damage to your opponent.

So Ragnarok being a Gilford Link Monster has the destroy all monsters when it summoned and can tribute a monster linked to it to negate a Spell or Trap Card and deal an additional 800 damage on top of it, still it requires 3 Level 4 or higher Warrior-Type Monsters and has a Up Marker to balance this card out.
