Card(s) Players Control on his/her Left-most and Right-Most Column cannot be targeted for attack or effect. except by Link Monster. but it cannot prevent the turn player to attack his/her opponent directly. also those card cannot attack and/or activate its effect until its controller next Standby Phase after it placed on the field or flipped face-up. 


 


basically attempting to dismiss my current boredom by trying to procure a card utilizing the brand new zone positioning term of EXFO Mikuratori. as described this card basically fuse Master Duel and Speed Duel rules (well their field format to be exact). which end up as a double-edged card that protect your cards (Pendulum, rejoice!) but also prevent immediate interaction of those cards to simulate the non-existing column in the speed duel.

Yeah this sounds beneficial for Pendulums to a degree since you can still make use of the Scales, if nothing else. Then, the card becomes active past that turn.

I would totally put Barrier Statues or Gora Turtle in those columns, or Fossil Dyna, since they become live until my End Phase.

Not sure how balanced that concept would be tbh.

 

It would probably be better to fuse Terminal World and Terminal World II into a single card and making it a Field Spell to mimic the conditions.

Or if you wanna be trolly, sprinkle in a clause that makes the new Field Spell pretty much dead meat on the field, but it gives its effect while in the GY, to any active Field Spells (because that'll turn out alright.... pff)

But yeah, I have doubts about the concept of putting floodgates over there.....
