Monarch King
Normal Trap Card When an opponent's monster declares an attack: Target the attacking monster; negate the attack, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the attacking monster's original Level x 400. You can only activate 1 "Magic Cylinder II" per turn.
Fukato
It does the same thing as Magic Cylinder but... Sometimes it can be less powerful?! There are times where low level monsters don't have high attack but have the levels to deal some damage. But this card is essentially ineffective against Links and Xyz. Those do not have levels so no damage will be dealt unlike Magic Cylinder. Also this has a HOPT on it while Magic Cylinder does not... So... This is underwhelming. Very underwhelming. If you have a HOPT clause on it, buff it more. Or you can remove the clause and buff it a bit since it loses some targets.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
If this were released pre-ZEXAL, then sure, the burn would be an issue no matter what. But as Xyz and Links exist and latter is certainly going to be seeing more play in this format, it's mostly going to amount to simple attack negation. It's not bad, but certainly not worth putting a hard OPT on. Heck, Magic Cylinder #1 has the potential for much greater damage and isn't restricted, though that's not seeing play much right now. Agreeing with the above user that you can buff it to make it worth running over OG Cylinder and keeping that hard OPT. Or just strip it altogether, though it'll still be meh.
