(This card is also treated as a Synchro Monster.)

This card gains 500 ATK for each Synchro Monster on the field and in your GY. Once per turn: you can Synchro Summon 1 DARK Dragon Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck by shuffling Monsters including 1 Tuner Monster from you hand and GY into your Deck as Synchro Materials. If a Level 8 or higher DARK Synchro Dragon would be destroyed either by battle or by card effect, you can send this card to the GY instead.

So I designed Red Ring to work with the Red Dragon Archfiend Deck where it being also treated as a Synchro means its not disabled by Red Risings effects making this a combo tech card.

 

Combo wise as with mentioning Red Rising you can simply go...

 

Red Resonator Summon a Level 4 Monster,

Synchro summon Red Rising Dragon and revive Red Resonator to gain 2100 LP,

use Red Resonator and Red Rising Dragon to summon this,

use this cards effect to shuffle Red Resonator and Red Rising to summon Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend.

 

With that you would end up with both a 2000 ATK Link Monster and a 3000 ATK Synchro Monster. In addition to that it also can allow for you to Synchro Summon with Monsters from your hand as well.
