Quick-Play Spell

 

Add 1 non-Warrior monster that has "HERO" on its name or listed in its card text from your Deck to your hand. You can Banish this card from you GY Apply 1 of the following effect.

@ Banish 1 "HERO" monster you control until your next Standby Phase. And if you do and that monster is a non-Warrior monster, inflict Damage to your opponent equal to half of banished monster ATK

@ Target 1 non-Warrior "HERO" Monster, that target unaffected by opponent card effect until your opponent next End Phase

 

While a proper deck that can run this is basically non-existent i just love those non-warrior so much more than the "pure high and mighty" of the warrior one (especially of course the Evil HEROes) and realizing that most of those cards is basically lack of nearly-everything so i made this all rounded card of Search, Game Push, and Protection.

I mean, you do have the nature-based HEROs from the manga (albeit they're meh now) and Evil HEROs can't do much because limited memberbase in general. For what it's worth, you do have access to Wroughtweiler too (who still uses it?).

 

Second effect could just be reworded to say that "target is unaffected by your opponent's card effects until your opponent's next End Phase". Granted, it does add on "sending to the GY" too, but...outside rare cases, it should not be an issue.

Card is cute, but still suffers from lack of viable members that can be searched out and benefit off this.
