Fusion Territory

Field Spell

At the start of the damage step, when a Fusion Monster you control battles an opponents monster: it gains ATK & DEF equal to its Level x 200. When a Fusion Monster is Fusion Summoned, add 1 "Polymerization" or "Fusion" Spell Card from your GY to your hand. You can only activate this effect of "Fusion Territory" once per turn.

So Fusion Territory inspired by Xyz Territory gives Fusions the ATK and DEF boost like Xyz Monsters but also recycles your Poly/Fusion Spells once a turn when you Fusion Summon a Monster.

In various Fusion Decks this can be a big asset in terms of ATK boost and help reuses your Fusion Spells in order to keep your Fusion Summoning consistent.

Looks nice, certainly a bit better than the other generic Fusion field Spell "Fusion Recycling Plant". It pays for itself very quickly rather than wait until the End Phase so it could actually see some play.

So the deck that wants to play this would:

  • Be a fusion Deck
  • Use Polymerisation or other Fusion spells without a HOPT with "Fusion" in its name
  • Want to fusion multiple times in one turn
  • Want to OTK? due to the ATK increase, and have High-Level Fusion monsters?

I can think of Flufflals and Lunalights, Gem-Knights also came to me but the fusion spell recurs itself on its own.

This card actually works well with "Fusion Recycling Plant": run 3 terraforming in Flufflals or Lunalights with these 2 field spells. Have Poly? search this, Need Poly? Search Plant.

Have 2 Field Spells/Terraformings? Activate this get your Poly back and do your Battle Phase, then activate Plant and get your search during the End Phase.

But to be honest I can't see this being played in stuff like Shaddolls since the Fusion Spells are HOPT and the monster float into them. Or Metalfoes since the fusion spell has the GY effect. And Invokation is not a "Fusion" Spell.
