and thats how it should be...rock itself is the base of all metal genres but becuase we all know it isn't never gonna to leave (like some genres *cough* Rap *cough*) but unfortunatly rock to all those other people is just "devil music" and poeple are always gonna come out with something like "i can't understand what there saying" or some stuff like that.

 

 

POST PEOPLE WE NEED MORE BANDS HERE! :lol:

Actually, Metal was derrivited from Blues music, Led Zepplin and Black Sabboth played alot of blues in there earlier years, witch turned into Metal. Rock also comes from Blues.

Fav dires straits song mine is sultans of swing

 

In my opinion, Sultans isn't so great as song, as Knopfler's voice is only slightly better than Bob Dylan's, but that wicked guitar solo of the last minute rocks so freakin' much.
