Thomas★Zero Posted February 13, 2018 Report Share Posted February 13, 2018 Overpowering Combat Trap Card Activate this card when a Monster you control attacks an opponents Monster. Until the End Phase this turn, that Monster and the attack target cannot be destroyed as a result of battle, then, after damage calculation the Monster that attacked ATK becomes same as the Monster it battled. During the turn you activated this card the Monster that's ATK was changed by this effect can attack the Monster it battled up to the number of its Level/Rank/Link Rating. Each time the Monster that's ATK was changed by this effect attacks, increase that Monsters ATK by 100. During the End Phase this turn, Monster that's ATK was changed by this effect ATK becomes its original ATK. You can only activate 1 "Overpowering Combat" once per turn. So Overpowering Combat is a trap that though slow for its use can be powerful for damage output as if your Monster battles an opponents, it prevents them from being destroyed, then, it makes your Monsters ATK become the same as it and makes it so you can make a number of additional attacks on that Monster based on its Level/Rank/Link Rating where on bigger Monsters the damage will be greatly growing as each attack it makes it gains 100 more attack. Finally I balanced this by making it so at the End Phase that Monsters ATK returns to its original and its a hard OPT Card. In battle orientated decks like Gouki this card can effectively add a aggressive impact onto them. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
