The Highlander Posted April 7, 2018 Report Share Posted April 7, 2018 As much as I like the concept and Crystal Beast support this card does nothing for them, if I might suggest something it would be to add a tuner instead to even enable proper synchro access for them, however as for your card.1.) The recycling effect sounds good, only not for crystal beasts, Crystal Beasts want graveyard setup to some extend, not destroying that setup.2.) This cad going to the Spell/Trap zone is cool, though one wastes crystals to get this out and getting 1 for getting rid of this feels terrible. I suggest you add more fitting effects, special summoning crystal beasts from one's Spell/Trap Zone, setting up to 2 or 3 Crystal Beasts from one's deck (there is no point to use an inferior Pegasus that requires setup) into the Spell/Trap Zone or actually protecting Crystal Beast cards (like the crystal pendulums would do, considering them wasting 2 Spell/Trap Zones obsoletes them in that they majorly contradict the decks playstyle), you could also make it a searcher for Crystal cards to increase the consistency, though investing a tuner one has to tech into a (-1) Synchro Summon in an already fragile deck takes a lot of power to justify, especially if you have to use those to get this Synchro monster out.As for the stats and name, everything past the effects sounds solid. redman30 Posted April 7, 2018 Author Report Share Posted April 7, 2018 "As for the stats and name, everything past the effects sounds solid." well thank you although i don't have an artwork for it then, if you want to see a crystal beast tuner go check this :https://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/371983-crystal-beast-tourmaline-monkey/ it's a tuner that has the effects of searching and increasing the consistency you wanted on this card also i want to point out that i designed this card with tourmaline monkey in mind ( and it was some night i couldn't sleep) let me explain:when you synchro this card you're actually making a +1 since you summon it, get its materials back and then draw a card (and you have a better body than any CB) so it's always nice and you can abuse it if it gets destroyed or is placed in your spell zone by pegasus i think it can become a strong draw engine + recycling your resources (something crystal beast can hardly do and desperatly need in order to be competitive) to have been playing crystal beast i can tell you that you loose your resources way to quickly to be able to sustain other decksand frankly as for now plying rainbow dragon or its variants is more of an hindrance than a real help in competitive format so no crystal beasts don't need that much graveyard setup (most of their effects are base on your deck) but you may be right it could be too hard too summon for to little benefit if you don't have my tourmaline monkey so maybe i should change it's effect but i like the idea of recycling anyway thank you for your comment ^^ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
