[spoiler='The Hero and Villain Twins'

[spoiler='Hiro'

Age: 19

[spoiler='Appearance'". . . You probably wanted to talk to my sister right? She's the one that's good, I just get lucky sometimes."

[spoiler=Personality] Incredibly shy, Hiro prefers solitude when not dueling and has a habit of nervous stuttering when he talks to his opponent. If he's forced to hang out with others he'll most likely just stand in the back quietly and flash a shy smile when someone asks him anything. Due to his timid nature he doesn't really understand most people and often compares them to different cards or fictional characters to gain some kind of way to interpret them. during a duel his confidence is directly related to how well he thinks he's doing, not to say he'll lose any ability to play if he begins losing, he gauges his own skills based on his plays and combo's meaning that a bad hand could be a devastating blow to his ego.

[spoiler=Backstory] Hiro was always kind of antisocial, his parents got him into dueling hoping it would help him make friends, instead it isolated him more due to the lack of willing duel partners and his amateur understanding of the game. At home he would seal himself off in his room and study the game online, watching matches in tournaments hoping it would help him learn to make better moves and use his cards to the best of his ability. Most the time he just wanders around watching duels from a distance, hoping maybe someone will ask him to join in but also afraid of any possible interaction.

[spoiler=Deck] Hiro uses the "Phantom HERO" archetype, a deck that focuses on an unusual set of fusion monsters, either summoning powerful monsters to blow away the opponent or abusing their shared effect to swarm the field through cards like "Phantom HERO Oceanic Nova".

[spoiler=Misc.The monsters of the Phantom HERO archetype are all counterparts to existing Elemental HERO's and the monsters of the archetype as a whole are considered to be bitter rivals of their more popular Elemental counterparts in lore. Hiro's favorite monster is Phantom HERO Night Phoenix, his favorite non-Fusion monster is Phantom HERO Tangle Grove, mostly because of the name. Hiro records every duel he watches on his phone.

[spoiler='Hikara'

Gender: Female
Age: 19

[spoiler=Appearance"He's more an observer than a participant."

b3074cf61693ee7c04af8b6cc2e16d2a.jpg

around the same height and build as her brother, she wears pastel sweaters and self made woven hats that always have a hidden pocket for her deck

[spoiler=Personality] While she wass equally as shy as Hiro, Hikara was able to overcome her social anxieties and put on a facade of a cheery disposition. She'll often be the one to initiate a duel, usually with her brother watching, in hopes of seeing new cards which get's her very excited. Unlike Hiro she doesn't have an issue in her dueling confidence and loves meeting someone she can't seem to beat just so she can form a new strategy to best them. If it weren't for her insistence on constantly trying to include her brother Hikara would be far more popular among duelists her age.

[spoiler=Backstory] Just like her brother their parents tried to get her into dueling to help her out at school however it seemed to work in her case, she became enthralled with the game and helped her brother make his "Phantom HERO" deck, promising him they'd be duel rivals and that he'd always be her only worthy opponent. though she made a ton of friends through dueling she abandoned most of them in favor of Hiro despite his indifferent nature to most people. Soon after people started avoiding both the twins socially and only really dueled with Hikara while Hiro would watch and record.

[spoiler=The Villainous ColdRush

RP: Destiny City: The Numerix Wars (Discontinued)

Name: Kori Akuyaku

Gender: Male

Age: 15

[spoiler=Appearance] "This probably sounds a bit forward but I was wondering if either of you are interested in a duel."

941c4751fad716d4cfa00a4bb4732664.jpg

around 5'6 with a lean build, blue eyes, and dirty blonde hair, on the few occasions he's not wearing his "costume", which consists of a simple hoodie, black wig, and gas mask, he usually just wears a tee shirt and jeans with light blue laced black sneakers.

[spoiler=Personality

Kori likes to think of himself as the villain type he's just a fan boy playing a part. Most the time he goes out as his "evil alter ego" ColdRush, a character built from his love of classic comic book villains and the AntiHERO Archetype, while he tries to be menacing and standoffish in this disguise he usually just comes off as "cute" or childish to some older women and outright strange to most people around his age. While dueling he'll often try to think of quips to throw at his opponent like they're some kind of hero trying to stop his plans.

Kori has always loved comic books, especially the villains, to the point of obsession where he tries to emulate their behavior and attitudes in his everyday life, this, for the most part, got him what he wanted, while he thinks people avoid him for his villainous behavior usually they just think he's strange. When the AntiHERO archetype came out he quickly bought enough cards to make a proper deck and created his "ColdRush" persona to go with it. Eventually he heard about the Numerix cards and decided to make it his "evil" goal to obtain them all and become an unbeatable duelist.

Deck: The AntiHERO archetype along with Numerix-061: Vengeful Mage, Reinforcements of the Army, Gold Sarcophagus

Misc: People often think he's a cosplayer going to some convention for something. He calls his Duel Runner "The Chiller" and has had it painted sold black with icicle decals on the sides. somehow his parents have no idea about his strange habits or about his "secret identity"

[spoiler=The Pessimist]

RP: Yu-Gi-Oh: Weapons of Old (Discontinued)
Name:
Cedron Malor

Age: 14

[spoiler=Appearance1159718055_SadAnimeGirl.jpg

 "I just had nothing better to do is all."

Biography: Cedron used to love dueling before the Phantom Knights killed her mother, her only family, after that day she became depressed, lost any interest in dueling, or anything else for that matter, and replaced her once colorful deck with the "Discord" archetype. She spends most of her time either sleeping, which she does very little of due to horrible dreams, or wandering the streets looking for members of the Phantom Knights to duel. Eventually some stranger walked up to her and offered her two weapon cards, a new card type she had yet to have first hand experience with, as long as she came to some warehouse on the other side of town, not really caring whether it was a trap or not she decided to go, if it isn't she gets some new cards, if it is then oh well, not like she had plans anyway.

Personality: Her mood is somewhat sparatic, most the time she acts absent minded and disinterested in everything, occasionally while dueling she'll let out some of the emotion that used to fuel her. When she plays her ace "Grand Discordian King Xaos" it means she either wants to get the game over with as quickly as possible or she thinks you actually have a chance at beating her, it's usually impossible to tell. Often she'll feign happiness or interest in a person to disguise her true feelings and motives.

Deck: Discord, a unique set of Negative monsters, they focus on banishment only to return the banished cards to the field or deck, their levels can fluctuate between positive and negative, creating chaos as the user has two completely different play options depending on the levels of their monsters

[spoiler=The Creator]

RP - Yu-Gi-Oh: Redux (Canceled)

Name - Sirius Tulpar

Gender - Male

Age - 38

Character Role - Maximilian Pegasus

[spoiler=Appearance]e986d05e889961e2acc9ffc7cf4168bd.jpg

 "For our second place winner, an an exclusive signed copy of my favorite little bunny, Totem Rabbit, with alternate art by yours truly."

[spoiler=Backstory] The creator of Duel Monsters and one of the heads of Industrial Illusions, not many know the man personally but what is known is the story of how he created the worldwide phenomenon that made him one of the most wealthy men in the world. As a young man he studied abroad, living off of whatever scraps he could get his hands on. He'll tell anyone first hand that he took inspiration for his popular card game from Greek, Egyptian, and Celtic mythology to name a few and that when he brought his creation to Industrial Illusions they rejected it thirteen times after which he took what little he had and made one-hundred-twenty unique cards and allowed children to build and play with whatever decks they could make outside the companies office for three weeks until they offered to buy the game. Sirius quickly rose to the top ranks at Industrial Illusions to the point where a decision cannot be made without his knowing.

Personality - A (pun intended) serious man usually, he's always happy to speak with fans of his creation for hours on end and is often seen watching tournament finals around the world. there seems to be something going on with him behind the scenes that no one has managed to figure out quite yet.

Deck - a user of the first Archetype he made, one created specifically for himself, the Totem cards are a large set of the first cards he made, no one else since those children outside the office of Industrial Illusions has ever used them as he's limited the number of copies made. the cards focus on ritual monsters with alternative summoning conditions as well as a variety of mostly low level support. his signature card is Forsaken Totem although supposedly he has a secret ace that he barely uses.

RP: Yu-Gi-Oh: Fallen Hope (Discontinued)n

"Now then, get on with it, I'd like to get to my turn and destroy you."

Biography: Alex has always been a punk in school, dueling younger and weaker students to steal their favorite cards, refusing rematches to anyone that wanted them back, and just being a general nuance to everyone. Eventually he was sought out by the rare hunters for his collection, he was able to easily defeat a few but eventually he was overwhelmed and most of the more valuable parts of his collection was stolen, eventually the Flame Swordsman rebellion came to his aid, driving out the rare hunters. Alex soon asked to join their ranks in order to get revenge on the rare hunters for picking a fight with him. After proving himself in a duel he was initiated into the group, while he is still incredibly rude to everyone he stopped taking peoples cards and picking fights with weaker duelists after joining, to focused on reclaiming his stolen hoard to bother.

Personality: Alex doesn't really care much what others think of him so unless you're some how able to impress him he'll most likely treat you like dirt, the only thing he seems to care about is his vast collection of cards, no matter how weak or worthless your favorite card is he'll want it if he doesn't have a copy, collecting just for the sake of it. As a result he's run out of storage space and keeps several cards not in his deck with him as good luck charms. should you try to even touch any of his cards he'll freak out and possibly even hit you.

With the largest collection in the class and prides himself on having a large quantity of rare and powerful cards, getting him to part with them however may take some convincing.

Personality - Not a particularly nice kid, often in trouble for taking cards or disrupting class, Alex spends what little time he's not in trouble as the head of the trade circle of the class, usually tricking kids into giving him something far more valuable than what he offers.

Token Appearance - a shield painted gold

[spoiler=Sota Ito

[spoiler=The Living Computer

RP: Yu-Gi-oh: Reborn/Re-Reborn (Discontinued)
Name:
Sota Ito

Age: 27

[spoiler=AppearanceAnime-boy-with-white-hair-and-blue-eyes.

"Humans are merely machines made of organic matter, yet somehow they confuse me."

Biography:  As a child Sota spent a large amount of time indoors, mostly fiddling with household appliances and coming up with ideas for machines to impress his father, at first he thought duel monsters was stupid and childish but eventually he was pressured into playing by his class mates, to his parents delight, shortly after which he not only fell in love with the game but became the class "superstar" duelist, his practical mind allowing him to easily form a proper deck strategies for his friends instead of just mashing together the coolest looking cards but that undefeated status quickly faded and he was left behind once they realized it was mostly a game of wits and began making far stronger decks using better cards to beat him with, his favorite cards quickly became the "Monster ." archetype do to it's simple but technical plays as well as it's machine typing even though they were considered one of the weaker archetypes, a set of cards he received as a gift from his parents to help him enter the world of dueling and hopefully make friends. He graduated early, majoring in engineering, and became a programming teacher at a private school near his home while working on his ultimate goal, to come up with the next great invention to revolutionize dueling (much like the duel disk did). He duels mostly casually and to test his deck theories and modified duel disk but occasionally will challenge someone if it means furthering his research. While tries to stay away from people Sota finds them necessary to his work, not only as opponents for duels but to base his A.I. off of and finally perfect his creation so he can present it to Industrial Illusions and at last be recognized for his (self proclaimed) brilliance.

Personality:  Incredibly arrogant, he constantly expects to win no matter the foe. If he were to lose (which he often does) he would attempt to hide his embarrassment but would most likely fail. He is extremely technical and compares people to machines and computer software. Constantly attempting to anticipate others moves/motives, he considers himself to always be the most intelligent person in the room. An introvert, he tries to focus himself during a duel and avoid conversation with his opponent. Sota prefers to distance himself from others and be alone, mostly spending time fiddling with his duel disk and other small machines he keeps with him. Becomes incredibly stressed if he has to interact with someone and will refuse to look them in the eyes. He will "secretly" make friends (meaning he'll consider someone a friend but won't admit or acknowledge it). Displays of emotion are an alien concept to him (or at least he doesn't recognize it in others). After a duel, whether or not he losses, he will congratulate his opponent in an arrogant manner. Sota's thought process is similar to how the average computer operates, "record new information, delete irrelevant data, do not become obsolete."
