So this card at the cost of half your Life points can generate a Level 8 or lower Light or Dark Monster which ATK will dictate how this card works where it could either wipe either players field if its ATK is high or low but if its on the dot 2000 it becomes a 4000 ATK beatstick that's unaffected by card effects for the turn its summoned.

 

Decks like Lightsworn and Rokkets can make use of this with by summoning a low ATK Monster to wipe your opponents board but through this cards effect it would grant them LP per card destroyed.
