Effect: Select 1 face-up monster (Level 4 or lower/Spellcaster-Type) you control. During this turn, it can attack directly.Rush Duel RD/ST02-JP006 ツインエッジ・ドラゴン Twin-Edge Dragon Level 3 LIGHT Dragon Effect Monster ATK 1000 DEF 0 Requirement: You can activate this by sending 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard. Effect: This card can attack twice during this turn.Rush Duel RD/ST01-JP014 火の粉のカーテン Hi no Ka no Curtain (Curtain of Sparks) Trap Card Requirement: When your opponent’s monster declares an attack and there is a monster (Spellcaster-Type) in your Graveyard. Effect: The attacking monster loses 500 ATK until the end of this turn. Regarding How Trap Cards Work In Rush Duels: If there are 2 or more Traps that can activated during the same timing, only 1 of them can be activated. First the non-turn player (the player who is not currently going through with their turn) decides if they want to activate a Trap or not. If they do not, the turn player can then decide if they wish to activate a Trap or not. https://ygorganization.com/insovietrushduelpriorityplaysyou/ https://ygorganization.com/thegamesaredifferent/ https://ygorganization.com/fullyautomatedluxuryshaman/ So there are certain rule changes to Rush Duels here, that are going to be interesting, if not slightly annoying, to learn. Oh and we got the first Trap Cards, which looks more pink than purple to me, maybe I need my eyes checked, I dunno. EDIT: Just realized that Twin-Edge Dragon is from ST02, so my bad. Dokutah
How they manage to makes rush duel stuff getting on my nerves each time? Correct me if im wrong. So only one player can activate traps at the time if the other player with priority allow it to happen. That doesnt seems exiciting and potentially 1 sided until your 3rd trap depending on how generic the traps are since in a sense the trap that allowed to activate is spell speed (infinity). I don't really know what you mean here, the thing that is different is that the turn player no longer goes first. The thing about the same timing simply means you can't activate 2 Bottomless Trap Hole, for whatever reason you have to do that.
Dokutah
Ah i see so traps cannot be chained with your other trap in a sense right?

So does that mean that once a trap is activated noone is allowed to chain anymore ? Or does this mean that one can never chain to one's own effects ? Or does that simply mean that priority passes as usual and the opponent starts with priority ? As for the cards themselves. Twin-Edge Dragon sounds decent for now, being general tribute fodder and using a dead draw (not being usable before the next massive draw) as another resource for pushing. Curtain of Sparks does sound very decent, especially given that (currently) Seven Roads Magician would win every battle against another monster if backed up by this. I am not sure where the idea of not being able to Chain to your own cards anymore comes from. The thing this refers to is only the activation timing of cards. There is actually something already like this in the game, that being cards in the hand, where you can only activate one card from your hand at the same activation timing. This is like that, you can still activate other Traps or Quick Effects in response, you simply have to follow the new priority rules where the turn player goes last instead of first.
