Blue-Eyes comes with a very special caveat about its usage.

Field Spell Cards are confirmed and they work like they do in regular Yu-Gi-Oh! You place it face-up in your Field Zone, its effects are then applied. If you play a new Field Spell, the old one is sent to the GY, you can play any number of Field Spells per turn.

Regarding Legend Cards:
You can only include exactly 1 Legend Card with the Legend Icon in your Deck, in total. No highlandering a Deck full of Legends.

Regarding Deck Out:
If you would Draw and not have any cards remaining in the Deck, you lose. (Example: 4 or less cards in Deck, hand of 0 cards, you lose.)

So Legend Cards are a thing now, a special kind of card you can only have one of in your Deck, so that's kind of interesting, and the first is Blue-Eyes White Dragon. The name and the fact that Blue-Eyes is the first shown implies that it will be for older cards, but perhaps they will do this for new cards as well, would be interesting to see a super powerful card you can only have one of by default, no ban list necessary. Rush Duels are getting more interesting by the day.

Well at least this is the least annoying sevens news

RIP BEUD,BESD

No highlandering legends eh, damn it

If the intention of Legend Monster is to be built-around or decisive game finisher (probably by having stat that is not early DM format like most Rush Duel  level 5+ we see so far) then its should be fine. Kinda worried that depending on the level of powercreep these cards can easily obselete

Only 1 Legend card per deck? Reminds me of the Gold Star cards from the Pokémon TCG during the gen 3 era, where you can only have one of them in your deck.

Isn't the prism star rule pretty much the same thing? Or is it just one of each prism star?

either way, if they're gonna have that be a thing, hopefully they provide some decent support for the legend cards as well. 3k attack points is nice and all, but i don't see it being worth much down the line unless they do something special to support "legend" type cards.
