jhcman21
with powerbond, you take alot of damage, future fusion is at one, overload and poly are probably the only good ways to get it out, but i still dont think it should be limited

The Dark One
Ok guys. Judgment Dragon is literally worse than Chaos Emperor Dragon. He only nukes the field (not the hand) but he doesn't die himself. You can easily pull of an OTK. (Instant Win Button is always superior the Instant Reset Button) Of course, this all changes if we follow Remix's banlist and bring the Yata-lock back into play. DAD is also pretty much an instant win button. It's a bit harder to pull off now because of the banning of D-Fusion and limiting of Return. (Also, it is slowed down by the semi-ing of Allure), it is for those reasons only that there is even any question as to its state on the list. Still, I think it should be banned, for the good of the metagame. Disk Commander was already a pretty ridiculous card, now it just has to be banned. The release of Limit Rebirth makes it far too abusable. It's generally considered bad when a card can repeatedly turn other cards into better version of Pot of Greed. This guy's a +2 buddies. You get a free tribute and 2 cards in the hand for your trouble.

Tickle Me Emo
I THINK JD Deserves to be banned purely because it can turn the duel around. However we all know it wont be because Kunomi and UDE are just money hungry. They ban JD and a whole pack stops selling. But I dont think JD can always lead to OTKs because what are the chances of having 3 JDs in hand at once? VERY slim. DAD SHOULD be banned but I doubt it will. Its a powerhouse that can be abused in multiple kinds of decks, unlike JD that can only be abused in LS. DAD Deserves the ban the most. Disk isnt powerful by itself. Its the cards that are coming out that are making it powerful. I wouldnt say ban worthy, because banned cards can be used in Traditional play. Id say this needs to hit the god cards list, like Chaos Emperor does.

Aximil
Pharaoh_Atem, you are awesome. You just have an awesome personality. But, I don't really see why any cards should be banned. If you're good enough, you can stand up to anything.
Pharaoh_Atem
Pharaoh_Atem' date=' you are awesome. You just have an awesome personality. But, I don't really see why any cards should be banned. If you're good enough, you can stand up to anything.[/quote'] The flaw lies in one thing and one thing only. You're wrong. Namely, you're wrong about the following: If you're good enough, you can stand up to anything. Being "good enough" requires that it is possible for someone to be unable to stand up to it. Namely, for the term "good enough" to make sense, there must be a level of ability that is insufficient. Namely, for "good enough" to exist, "not good enough" must be possible. Now, then, you are wrong simply because being "not good enough" is impossible for the case you have presented. The case you present is that "a player" must "be able to stand up to anything." First, we define "a player" as someone who meets the benchmarks of playing the game - namely, someone able to follow the rules and comprehend every game mechanic, such that the player truly can play the game unimpeded. If someone cannot comprehend how to play the game, they are not a player, although they might try to play. They cannot actually play, as they do not understand how, so they are not a player. Next, we define "being able to stand up to anything." It's exactly as quoted. Now, then. Here's where sheet falls apart for your case. It is impossible for a player to be "not good enough". Namely, every "player" (as defined) CAN "stand up to everything." It doesn't matter how bad the player is: if he's a player, he can stand up to anything the game throws at him. You need not be good at the game to win or lose at this game. Saying "we shouldn't prohibit cards because you can stand up to anything if you're good" is a poor argument. This is because you do not need to be good to stand up to anything. Namely, Prohibitions and Limitations (when properly conducted) promote a game where bad players generally lose more often than they win, moreso than they would if the Prohibitions and/or Limitations were stopped. A game w/o Prohibitions takes being "good" or "bad" out of the equation, and replaces it with nothing but luck of the draw. A game w/ Prohibitions... reintroduces the concept of a "good player winning" and "bad player losing." So, tell me, do you believe that bad players should be able to beat good players? Aximil
Yes. But, I still say that all cards should be allowed. Then, like you said, it would just be up to luck. Which means, anyone can win. Even new coming players against players who have been playing the game for quite some time.
