The competition was divided into four divisions :

 

1st Division : Instrumental - ( Piano, Violin, Guitar, etc. )

2nd Division : Vocals - ( Singers within the ages of 5 and 13 )

3rd Division : Vocals - ( Singers within the ages of 14 and up )

4th Division : Novelty - ( Magicians, Comedians, etc. )

 

There are three awards for each division : Honorable Mention , 2nd Place, and 1st Place.

The first place winners of each division, compete with one another for the grand prize.

The grand prize winner, (If an instrumental) gets invited to the 2008 Musicfest in Carlsbad on July 26.
