Maybe I'm not understanding something but I have a question

has everyone come to the conclusion that cup of ace should be banned? if so' date=' is this because it has the potential to be pretty good, or is it because it makes the game to luck base?

[/quote']

It's because LINAC (Luck Is Not A Cost), so this is Pot of Greed.

Ahh... That makes sense... You just got to hope that your really lucky so that it ends up being a pot of greed...

and even then, depending on the situation, your opponent drawing cards might not be such a bad idea...

What? I could probably make it fit into a mill deck...

...given, it would only work in yugioh world championship 2009 (when ever it comes out of course)

No. Mill doesn't run Gift of Greed. Mill doesn't run Defender. Mill doesn't run this card.

Oh, I know that... as I said, it would probably only work on a yugioh game such as world championship...

I mean, I made a deck that combines destiny board and exodia work on spirit caller and defenders work quite well in my mill deck on world championship 2008...

Even if you get the coin toss wrong, you can activate appropreate to still draw cards.

In other words,if you have the right cards,it doesn't matter where the coin goes.

Damn.. this would make my 2 headed coin seem useful

or at least change the card

Heads = I Win (draw 2)

Tails = You Lose (draw 2)

kthnx

added to the Ban List: Cup of Ace

Reason: for causing simple alternate wins in 1 sec

Ok, this card will most likely not be used in tournaments because of the luck factor. There is simply not enough reason to take that chance. And no, Second Coin Toss does not solve that problem.

Still, Luck is not a cost, as demonstrated by Snipe Hunter. UDE can either ban this card or ignore it until they see the first glimpse of it being used. More importantly, they should have never created it. It does not promote skilled gameplay. There is no reason to either limit or semi-limit this card.
