Demiety - Ritual archetype that can serve as a removal engine for other Ritual decks.

An idea of mine for a Ritual archetype that can perform Ritual Summon through search effect (similar to how Megalith innovated the mechanic by using monsters as Ritual Spells, and Drytron using ATK instead of Levels).

"Demiety Blue Rose Janois"

LV4/LIGHT/Fairy/Effect

ATK/0 DEF/0

During the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can banish any number of monsters, including this card on the field; add 1 "Demiety" Ritual Monster from your Deck to your hand whose Levels equal or lower than the total Levels of the monsters banished for this effect. If a Ritual Monster is Ritual Summoned to your field, while this card is in your Banishment: You can Special Summon this card in Defense Position. You can only use each effect of "Demiety Blue Rose Janois" once per turn.

"Demiety Sunflower Bridgitte"

LV4/WIND/Fairy/Ritual/Effect

ATK/1500 DEF/1500

You can Ritual Summon this card with a "Demiety" card. If this card is added to your hand by a "Demiety" monster's effect: You can Special Summon this card. (This is treated as a Ritual Summon.) If this card is Ritual Summoned: You can add 1 Demiety Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand. If this card is banished to activate a "Demiety" card's effect: You can target 1 card in your Banishment, and either add it to your hand, or shuffle it into the Deck to draw 1 card. You can only use each effect of "Demiety Sunflower Bridgitte" once per turn.

"Demiety Lily Gaiza"

LV6/EARTH/Fairy/Ritual/Effect

ATK/1900 DEF/2500

You can Ritual Summon this card with a "Demiety" card. If this card is added to your hand by a "Demiety" monster's effect (Quick Effect): You can Special Summon this card. (This is treated as a Ritual Summon.) If this card is Ritual Summoned: You can banish 1 Spell/Trap your opponent controls face-down. If this card is banished to activate a "Demiety" card's effect: You can target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy it. You can only use each effect of "Demiety Lily Gaiza" once per turn.

DemietySakuraTaisheng.thumb.png.4cba1f68b4bb482515454dba4a5ea9dc.png

"Demiety Sakura Taisheng"

LV8/LIGHT/Fairy/Ritual/Effect

ATK/2700 DEF/2000

You can Ritual Summon this card with a "Demiety" card. If this card is added to your hand by a "Demiety" monster's effect (Quick Effect): You can Special Summon this card. (This is treated as a Ritual Summon.) If this card is Ritual Summoned: You can banish 1 card you control or in your hand; banish 1 monster your opponent controls. You can only use each effect of "Demiety Sakura Taisheng" once per turn. During the End Phase of the turn that this card is Ritual Summoned: Shuffle it into the deck, then you can add 1 card from your Banishment back into your hand.

"Demiety Converging Parallels"

Field Spell

You can target 1 Ritual Monster you control, return it to the hand or Deck, and if you do, add this card from your Deck to your hand. When this card is activated: You can add 1 "Demiety" card from your Deck to your hand. Ritual Monsters you control cannot be targeted or destroyed by the effect of your opponent's monsters Special Summoned from the Extra Deck. During your opponent's End Phase: Place this card on the bottom of your deck.

"Demiety Manifold Cosmos"

Ritual Spell

This card can be used to Ritual Summon any Ritual Monster. You must also Tribute monsters from your hand whose total Levels equal or exceed the level of the Ritual Monster you Ritual Summon, or you can banish 1 "Demiety" monster you control or in your hand instead. If this card is in your GY: You can shuffle 1 "Demiety" Ritual Monster from your hand back into the Deck, and if you do, add this card to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Demiety Manifold Cosmos" once per turn.

The idea is relatively simple, with 3 Janoises and 1 copy of each of the remaining 5 cards, you have a quick effect banish 1 and pop 1 engine that can go off with just 1 card and can also resource loop. The combo is as follows:

Normal Summon Janois, banish her to add Bridgitte -> Bridgitte Ritual Summoned himself, fetching Manifold Cosmos -> SS back the banished Janois with her second effect ->bounce Bridgitte back to add Converging Parallels -> activate Converging Parallels to add Gaiza.

With that, you now have a ritual spell that can RS any Ritual Monster plus a target to banish for the cost in Bridgitte, and if you're going first, a Janois ready to tag out into Taisheng in the deck by banishing herself and Gaiza during your opponent's turn, resulting in a monster banish and a pop.

With Taisheng being able to put himself into the deck and fetch back Gaiza to your hand, Manifold Cosmos recycling itself by putting the fetched Gaiza back into the deck, and Bridgitte targeting himself with his banish effect, you can do this all again next turn too.

A little bit of trivia: The lore of this archetype depicts several deities across the universe, who reside in their respective plane, overseeing their world (which explains the elusiveness of them hanging out in the Banishment and their boss monster/field spell keep disappearing into the deck). One in particular, Janois' world, was under an invasion from a great evil. Helpless from stopping this great evil, in a last-ditch effort, Janois made both a selfish and selfless move. By sacrificing her divine body, Janois created a space-time continuum that allowed for different planes to co-exist (as depicted in Converging Parallel), thinking that by making this great evil every other deity's problem, then perhaps her own world might have a chance of surviving.

So what do you think of this? Would this be too much? Would this be unplayable? Should more restrictions be added? Any constructive criticism is well-appreciated! Thank you for reading!
