Mikaeo Posted June 8, 2008 Report Share Posted June 8, 2008 I can type around 25-40 words a minute. That may be a poor speed to type at but, I make up for it with great spelling and grammar skills. When I am hyper, and when I don't have to type something specific, I can type around 50-60 words a minute. EDIT: This all includes very little to no mistakes. Typing the letter 'a' 50 times with a space in between doesn't mean you can type 50 words a minute. It actually means you can type 10 words in minute. I don't really believe all the "oh yeah, I can type over 40 words a minute" coming from all the 10-12 year olds, I'm going to be honest and say I can type about 25 words a minute. However, we have this computer program at school where it tests you while typing these texts (with no really significant meaning) it's called "TapTouche" (yeah in French) and it gives you the average of your typing. Lets see how many words I can get. I think I can get more then 61+ but who knows. I don't use any typing meathod, just nuke my keyboard. I have a grey keyboard.
