Magical Cylinders

If your opponent's monster declares an attack: Negate the attack and note the attacking monster's current ATK. Then, if you control a Level 5+ "Dark Magician" monster, this card becomes a monster with the noted ATK, and must immediately attack an opponent's monster. You take no battle damage from battles involving this card and it is destroyed after damage calculation.

. . . So there's old cards like Toons and Magic Cylinders that just hit directly IRL, and never really had that in their original anime/manga forms. They eventually became their IRL counterparts to align themselves (Magic Cylinders from GX onward and Toons on Pyramid of Light, Waking the Dragons, and GX) but honestly that's both much more boring and much harder to balance out (Cylinders remaining Limited until like the ZeXal days).

This is based off Slifer's Duel. You never "Summon" the Cylinders in my version, but it must be able to be treated as an attack for all the interactions to work, and it can't target because anime Gods have protections that are hard to pinpoint. (Dark Sanctuary failed on Slifer and Mirror Force failed on Obelisk, but a bunch of other non-god effects worked, so non-target/non-destruction seems to be a thing). 

On another note, it was nearly always used as one of the Dark Magicians' tricks, but making it NEED them outright would be bad. Instead it needs them to resolve the "bouncing back" effect because unskilled non-magicians would be able to attempt the trick without full success..... this gives me an idea of adding a clause of "if you don't have a dark magician, [insert coin/dice ratio eff] to see if it works" but that'd probably be a bit convoluted at this point xD
