according to the first page, armored knight is the third highest rank in the heartless group and trickmaster is a heartless that is stronger than darkside i therefore suggest this, for rank 2 instead of neoshadow use solider, then for rank three use neoshadow and finally use black fungus instead of armored knight for rank 8

those mushrooms hit hard

The ranking system is based on the in-story strength of the Heartless and Nobodies. The Heartless equivalents were chosen due to similarities with their Nobody counterparts, both in appearance and in fighting style. However, the Armored Knights weren't my idea - I prefered the Luna Bandits as Equivalents to the Samurais. Allow me to explain the rankings I did come up with though.

Creeper = Shadow The Creeper and The Shadow are both the bottom rung. They are the weakest forms of their respective species, and it's already been stated that a Creeper is the Nobody equivalent of a Heartless.

Dusk = NeoShadow A Dusk is basically an upgraded Creeper, and a NeoShadow is an Upgraded Shadow.

Gambler = Trickmaster Both of these creatures use tricks and cards as a theme for their combat, and they even have similar movements. The Trickmaster is actually about the same size as a Gambler as well - bear in mind that it seems strong, but when you fight it in the game, Sora and the party are SHRUNKEN. If they were Normal size, it would be about as strong as a normal enemy.

Dancer = Powerwild These enemies both use jerky, dance-like motions to attack, and can even catch their opponent in an attacking combo. They have similar fighting styles, if not appearance.

Assassin = Magnum Loader The assassins strike hard and fast, but only if you allow them to. If you evade properly, they aren't a problem. Their reaction command can even instantly destroy them, but they spend a lot of time hiding in the ground, making them hard to hit. The Magnum Loader also strikes hard and fast, and have a reaction command that can instantly finish them off. They can be hard to hit because they spend so much time zooming around you.

Sniper = Devastator Both of these enemies use high-power projectile assaults. The Sniper trades Defense for Speed, and The Devastator trades speed for Power.

Dragoon = Wyvern These are both flying, Dragon-like enemies and that specialize in diving type attacks. Enough said.

Samurai = Armored Knight Again, wasn't my idea. In my opinion, the Luna Bandits are more similar. They are about as powerful as Samurais, and they both utilize A double-bladed style. They also both have an attack that has them rush forward unexpectedly. The Iron Knights are quite weak.

Berserker = Invisible The Invisible was the Berserker of Kingdom Hearts. They utilized a broad sword, boasted impressive strength, and could use an attack that rendered them completely invincible for a period of time.

Sorcerer = Angel Star Both of these enemies are immune to magic and can block frontal assaults by raising a shield of sorts.

Twilight Thorn = Darkside These are both the strongest form of their respective species, and the largest. Just because they weren't hard to defeat in-game means nothing - would you be happy if they handed you an intense, unbeatable monster as the first boss? They are intended to be stronger. They just, unfortunately, were met with the "First Boss Blues".
