Honestly, how much money does it take to fill in a hole on the street. Hundreds? No, just enough to buy a bag of cement -.-'. High taxes are bad. Our tax money really barely EVER helps out the community. Normally when you pay taxes, you notice nothing change in the community. I know that when my parents pay their taxes, nothing magically starts becoming better. And if your response to that is "It takes a long time for them to get it done", I'm going to have to say that we've had a road filled with pot-holes for years now.

What i'm trying to say is even with the High Taxes in the UK Already our country is like a Festering Cesspool. At times I am afraid to call myself British. We are supposed t0 be a Country of Monarchy, a Country which people look up to. Not anymore it isn't... Our Transportation System is a disgrace, It needs more funding, we give enough money as it is. That money goes to the Back Pockets of The people of Parliment and no more is heard of it.
