I support homosexual marriage, after all, if you love someone, you would normally show your affection to them by marriage at some point, right? Homosexuals shouldn't be locked down or differently by soiciety, yet they still are. No, I'm not homosexual, or bi-sexual, but I would find it unfair if they wouldn't be allowed to marry.

as, it does not conflict with my everyday life at all

If the 2 People totally love each other then I would say yes. I used to be a Homophobe but learnt to accept it. (Still can't watch 2 Guys Kissing and stuff) And having a child would not be a problem as the 2 Guys could get a Surrogate mother to give birth to a child for them.

Also this is a free world. The whole "Gays is bad" Thing was brought on by Religion (We talked about that in another topic)

Will, i don't oppose same sex marriage cause like you said if you love someone it's only fair to marry them. But look at this prospective, marriage has been made for a man and a women to tie the knot (or whatever you say) but it's kinda ironic how in the end a man will marry a man and a women will marry a women. I'm not against it but against what it leads to, in the end this can lead to 3 or 4 people getting married, plus there are a whole lot of arguments and difficulties that will be faced in the future plus this encourages homosexuality to increase, it's not bad but should be at a rate because if the whole population turns homosexual then it's GAMEOVER.

first off, in this regard, i am FOR same sex marriage. Please read this with an open mind to understand why.

 

There are 6.7 Billion + people in the world, right? or at least somewhere around there.

 

This amount of people is using up resources all around the world, and has lead to ever crowding of homes and countries. Just look to Africa and Japan for examples of this.

 

If you have same sex marriage, there is no way that they themselves can produce offspring. It is not humanly possible for guy+guy or girl+girl to = a baby.

 

so with same sex marriages allowed, more than likely the world population will either stay where it is for a while, or it might even go down.

 

that is why i fully support same sex marriage.

That aside, I can't help feeling uncomfortable around outspoken homosexual individuals, the concept shakes me a little, even if I am perfectly aware that it is wrong to face said people that way. Regardless, I stand for homosexual marriage. They shouldn't be barred from being with whoever they want, and quite frankly.. it gives them fewer reasons to go out on the streets in "gay pride meetings" and other "fights for gay rights" of the sort. :/

 

My views on child adoption by homosexual couples is completely different, as I'm strongly against it, but that's another subject altogether. ;)

I think it is wierd and I'd rather not see two guys kissing, but that doesn't matter since their marriage won't affect my life. Also, what can legalizing gay marriage cause?

Why don't we just abolish all judicial advantages of being married? That's the only real reason I think gay couples would even WANT to get married, for legal perks. Otherwise, if they really love each other, they don't need some sort of ceremony and a piece of paper to prove it.
