QueenIsAGreatBand Posted July 27, 2008 Report Share Posted July 27, 2008 Ah, I remember being a young lad and I saw this Kingdom Hearts commercial in a store and I was like "Hm?" and then I saw Donald Duck and Goofy high-fivin' and then I was like "OMG I need this game!" (I loved Donald Duck when I was younger, but that's another story). And so I spammed my mother into buying it just because DD was in it and finally on Christmas eve I rocketed it into my PS2 and started it up on like 5 secs. Then it took me about a month to play through it (I don't play video games well...) and I thought it was so awsome. Good times.:D So here's my opinion: Kingdom Hearts is harder but longer and Kingdom Hearts II is easier but shorter. You should buy them both. Zexaeon Posted July 29, 2008 Report Share Posted July 29, 2008 Lol, KH2 is actually longer. It has way more scenes and if you let it all play, it amounts to way more time than KH1. People just don't notice often simply because KH2 has a scene-skip feature which cuts time off the game. Anyway, Kingdom Hearts is my favorite game series, and one of the VERY few I've been with from the very start, unless you count having to been with Final Fantasy from the beginning as well. Anyway, KH1 was pretty good, CoM pretty much repeated it, but changed some stuff, yet remained enjoyable, whil KH2 is DEFINITELY the best one. If you have a DS and a PSP as well, you can look forward to 358/2 Days and Birth by Sleep as well. So I definitely recommend getting the game. It will make the RP much more fun. For example, in the manga, somethings are just too silly and they make the Organization look like a joke. Larxene was too powerful for Sora and friends to deal with, so they got her wet, which killed her. I'm sorry, but that just annoyed me. Marluxia put up almost ZERO fight in the manga and was brought down with a single hit (yeah, right). Vexen was made to look like an imbecile, Lexaeus was made-out to look like a moron, and Zexion was also killed by Riku in a single hit (which is also BS). Ansem wasn't even a challenge for Riku! So, there are a COUPLE parts of the manga I like, but mostly, it's untrue to the series. I just hate the way the Organization was depicted.
