For the first time ever, that I can recall, I actually completely agree with STL. :O

 

They all need to go, lest we create a point shop. In fact, they should have been removed when Card Trade was removed, and the Rep system should have only been used for Card Trade Reps, as to prevent people from getting ripped, as should have the points once points for cards was barred. Without any decent reason to keep them around, they should be removed.

 

Reps = Nothing.

Points = New Names.

 

In all honesty, members should be able to change their names up to twice in a 90 day period, and it should be a part of THEIR USER CP, so that the mods don't have to deal with that junk. This would make points completely useless (I guess other than GFX, but you guys love each other enough to do that stuff for each other for free right?), and would justify the removal of both systems to the entire.

i agree with getting rid of the reps and just keep the warning level thing as how badly someone is spamming.

but points i think should stay.

what is the warning level thing?

 

2. Warning level can only be seen by you and the mods.

 

Mods can add/remove to your warning level if you leave a post in their area, supers can add/remove warn from any of your posts.

 

Basically, if you do something bad, you get a warn, probably 20%, because that's standard, and if it turns out to be unjust, they can remove it later.

 

If you reach 100%, you are banned. I cannot say for here, but in most places, its permanent.

I think both points and reps should stay.

Without points and reps, all the shops will die off.

Without points, you can't buy tickets for the YCM Lottery.

Without reps, you can't give warnings to a member that isn't following the rules, and you can't award someone for doing the right thing.

Yeah, that's just my opinion.

Mind telling me why the place would be boring? The place was created for making cards and showing them off, plus discussing Yugiohmanz and just having a good time, therefore your arguement becomes pretty invalid, lol.

Who said you can't have name changes? We'd just rethink the rules for the name changes and go from there. Either way I'm not all that bothered about the points I just want teh IPB type shop thingy.

Firstly, look at my reply to God Pikachu, secondly care to explain why we shouldn't change anything, just saying "this place would be boring" is invalid as they don't exactly make the place any less boring.

 

Keep them both. Don't get rid of anything.

Ah, a blunt and straight to the point comment, however I can't make sense of your comment as you haven't justified your comment, at least explain why, that is all I really want...a opinion regarding the entire thing with perhaps a bit of justification. ^^

i was right.

the system should be abloished as it, gives the members, something to actually do, its whats it there for. to establish entertainment, in a competition basis.

Okay just a bit of an update, firstly we don't need points for name changes if we had an automated shop...wait then you would have points for it...also graphics don't really need to be paid with points, people just do it. Also it seems there might be an alternative version to the rep system, but most of you will probably complain about it so I won't go into any details regarding that. And yes I know Sam, that is exactly why I'm saying that they should be abolished for the simple fact that hardly anyone is giving a real justification aside from a few people.

umm problem for the your money part. I am i kid which means i don't get much for chores. also your right in the idea DJ had so that part I'm fine with.but like i said points should stay at least

if points are gone then people's shops will have almost no purpose. shops costs money you know. u cant just giv stuff for free! POINTS ND REPS STAY!!

I so beg to differ on that, there are plenty of "Free Shops" so no they don't cost money, people just decide their services should cost something, again you want currency use real money. So yes you can give stuff for free me thinks, but like I say automated shop please.
