Alternative Fuels/Oil Drilling

Should we continue drilling?

  1. 1. Should we continue drilling?

    • Yes, we should continue drilling off-coast or in the Mid-West.
    • No, we should not drill, use our reserves, and then find a different fuel.

it was the same way with the lack of understanding in how it worked. For the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the US scientists only expected a quick and near painless death, which meant they expected only a death rate of about 100,000 total.

But when news of what the radiation was doing to the Japanese people, the American public began to turn against such bombings.

No one knew the radiation was supposed to do that back then, and as a result the death rate (which is still happening today) has reached over 350,000.

You guys I still stick to my compressed Nitrogen theory. It could really help the planet.

it works, I've seen it in action. I have seen a video of people coming up with energy efficient cars for the future and the compressed nitrogen made a fast time, beats most cars in races as long as its for short distance ones.

The same goes with hydrogen fueled cars, but the money needed for this is far too much

We can make more, I don't know why we don't.

thats the problem with the hydrogen energy source, it's too expensive.

Otherwise I'm sure the whole country would have converted to hydrogen cards by now

They might if we stick to our theories convert it around 2030 or something. We will all be dead before that though.

That's only 21 years away, we'll all still be around

Due to most of the theories about the tree's running out by around 2020, we will probley be dead but I don't care about that. Not yet.

if tat was possible(the whole country converting to hydrogen cars)' date=' then where would the market be now? the are so many problems with the hydrogen cars just like when E-85 was first brought into use.

[/quote']

actually I forgot about what the problems were now (been a while). Mind listing them?

Actually regarding the trees running out by 2020, I think that's more oil side

Thats great, well not great about running out but great that it ties in with this topic.

yeah but that's ALL the forests in the world right now' date=' not just the major ones

[/quote']

true, also the forests in brazil seems to being chopped down much farther than the pic shows.(saw on the news a long time ago about it, so most of the forests in South America are most likely gone.

Save for the Amazon, but it'll probably be gone in 20 years anyway if we keep this up
