Should we continue drilling?

  1. 1. Should we continue drilling?

    • Yes, we should continue drilling off-coast or in the Mid-West.
    • No, we should not drill, use our reserves, and then find a different fuel.

give wind some time' date=' Prometheus. Back in the 50s that's what we initially said on nuclear due to the radiation problems, but that problem was solved quickly.

Sometimes efficient energy sources don't have quick solutions to them, you know.

Wind=Inconsistant

Inconsistant=Occaisional reliability on other sources of power

ORoOSoP=Not very efficiant

How about atoms' date=' break the bonds and it releases a powerful explosion/power. We have been trying to harness it but it's just to hard.

That is how a hydrogen bomb works. It would destroy the facility. (The first hydrogen bomb tested was several times stronger than the sum of all the bombs dropped during World War II, including the Nukes)

OH NOAZ they are testing that by smashing thousands of atoms together at thousands of miles over here' date=' WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE. But seriously I don't think that couple of billion pounds test will work.

Are you teh British?

Ah Britian... you still owe us for that tea incident.

Anyway, harnessing the power of an atom is still less efficient then fusion, wich is more attainable.

That's obvious, upon detonation of ANY kind the hydrogen needs expand itself in order to cool itself down (that's what determines the blast radius)
