MarbleZone
Spreme power being a power above all other power' date=' that created the unverse and exists within everything.[/quote'] I believe in God, I'm not sure I would define "my" God that way, though. But well, be that as it may, let's admit I do believe in that "supreme power" of yours, yes. ;)

Careless Whisper
The only reason why I am a strict agnostic is because I don't like religious conflict. So, I choose to remain unsure of what I believe in.

Kale
Bible = Full of plot holes' date=' like this one. This is one of the reasons why I think religion is bullshit.[/quote'] i agree... though i am in a religion (would rather not say....) that believes in a higher power. you all can choose what to call it though, as i dont really care, and neither does the religion. i only ask, how did we get here? i know there was the theory of the big bang, and all that, but how did that stuff get there in order to have a big bang is my question. but then we could ask the same question for the supreme power. how did he (or she) get there in order to make everything? those questions are always annoying me... Abstract [Atrocity]
I want to belive in God, I know he created everything, then Christ came to earth and ressurected, the whole bible thing. But a few of my own ideas conflict with some small things in the bible, and the christian faith, so tl;dr I believe God exists, I just don't know what he wants us to do on earth...What rules should we follow, what is right and wrong, does he ever affect people's life directly or does he sit on the sidelines and trust we'll have faith and figure it out ourselves? MarbleZone
Actually, in my opinion, a reasonable christian should stick to believing in around... 1/4 of the Bible's content. The concept of a religion - and on that note, it's validity - shouldn't be judged by its book. The Bible dates back thousands of years, it's only logical that a lot of its content is nowadays known to be false or regarded as highly doubtful... But the important thing in any religion is its values and its message. For that reason, I think it's irresponsible to label religion as bullshit because there are incoherences in its thousand-year-old documents. The plotholes are worth looking intomind. I'm a Christian and I take great interest in them - I just don't think it's sensible to immediately dismiss religion altogether, though.

Bloodrun
Read the bible -.-" He made man in his image, he then took the rib of a man, to form a women. Therefore, he looks like a man, and women look like men o.0" How... absured -.-
MarbleZone
Well Blood, look at it this way. WWE matches are worked and we still watch and enjoy them, right? Point is, it's not how the message gets through that matters, what matters is that it gets through. We have no idea how God looks like, and that is absolutely irrelevant anyway. The point of God, Jesus and all that is to teach us a certain way of living. I, as well as other people, accept the views of Christianity... but that doesn't mean everything is correct in the Bible, and how could it be? People were being introduced to something new at that time, the concept of a God which didn't accpet idols and had no known form, and that they had to somehow understand in order to follow... so it's only natural that the Bible is full of "absurd" things. ;)
Silas Angel
on the contrary.. God is a Spirit, therefore He has no form. He doesn't look like man nor woman
Luna Lovegood
Actually, God is a being, but a bieng of infinite existence, if you get that. That means that God is both man and woman and everything else. Jesus is a form of God, much more direct then most others. I do not really know much, because I beleive in a higher power, or a God of some description. But I beleive that He is present in everything, giving us options that we may take. Maybe a better way to explain is that you are walking through a forest of infinity, always walking as time moves on. Now this God i beleive in gives you options, infinite options, and you keep walking down that path. It might be called Fate, but it's fate where you have power over your own actions, so to speak. But one provides a since of false hope, while the other enlightens people. Dont ever put God in the presence of enlightening people, thats just plain croc.
