ok here is a groudon revew

Groudon is modeled after the Earth's land' date=' as shown by the rocky plates on its back. It is colored red, possibly a reference to its relation with volcanoes. Its body is modeled after a behemoth, a creature of legends and religious texts (particularly the Bible) that ruled the land. It has red armor plating with a gray belly and spikes running from its head down to its tail. Also Groudon is a genderless species.

Groudon has the ability Drought, which causes constant bright sunlight similar to the effects of Sunny Day whenever the Pokémon is in battle. Like Kyogre, the strong sunlight lasts for 5 turns after Groudon leaves the battle.

Groudon is slow, stoic, and heavy (2094 pounds--a little over a ton), this super-heavyweight created the land, according to Hoenn legend. It appears in Ruby version normally (fighting/catching it is a major plot element), but does not appear in Sapphire. In Emerald, it is available after beating the Elite Four.

Raichu is better in the games (DUH)' date=' but Pikachu always had more popularity. I can see why. Eletric is a good type, and kids love it's cuteness XD

Jolteon is actually better than Raichu for a speedy Electric if you wanna get into the stats and what not.

Funny story:

When I got Pokemon Yellow (my second Pokemon game) I was young. I got the Pikachu and couldn't beat Brock. Sop I caught a Pidgey, then beat Brock. When I got to Cerulean, I couldn't beat Misty with Pikachu regardless of type advantage. Down the line, I got my Pikachu to Level 32 and said, "Screw it. This Pokemon is annoying. It keeps following me.". I dumped it in the box and beat the entire game with a Pidgeot (even gary).

Pikachu isn't as great as everyone makes him out to be.

The only reason Pikachu is the "mascot" of Pokemon is because he is the main character in Pokemon the show. He hangs out with Ash, and with no Pikachu, there is no show. Well okay, the only show there is is looking for Pikachu.

He's not UBER powerful, to make him a powerhouse of any means.

He's not UBER cute, because there's a great deal more pokemon that are cuter.

He's not anything really special. He's just like every other, average pokemon.

And if you MUST know, he's possibly one of the weaker electric-type pokemon out there. Compared with all the other electric types, just on base-stats alone, he's no where near the top of the food chain.
