Math homework help needed by tonight.

I'm doing Fractions and simplifying them. We have to use divisibility rules for each number (2-10' date=' excluding 7.) What do I do if I have more than one decided rule, and what do I do after I decide the rule?

ooc: I so luv your avvy. Freakin awesome.

I will be awarding plus reps for my teachers every now and then just because you guys have helped out and are so awesome. XD

Wow.

This may just be me, but this thread has encountered about 3 Homework problems with about 80 teaching applications.

=/.

If you ask me, Xemnas, provide some sort of test to acquire a teaching position of any-sort.

Also, maybe only keep teachers that do the higher level stuff, and not roster teachers that teach specific, lower level topics that the higher level of knowledge teachers know as-well.

So, keep something like myself, Crab Helmet and Tea.Leaf for Math, mainly Crab, since in the factorials assignment, Crab blitzed it, and so on.

Not have about 17 "7th grade math" teachers when Crab or myself can answer the questions they have instantly.

Basically, I'm saying this needs to be more efficient to run effectively.

Other-wise, this is just going to get cluttered, and die.

That's if it already hasn't. D:

=/.

Also, I'll gladly opt out if someone can prove they know more Math than me.

=].

There should only be one rule for each number...

2- Ends with an even.

3- Digits add up to a number divisble by 3.

4- Last two digits are divisible by 4.

5- Ends with 5 or 0.

6- Divisible by 2 and 3.

7- No rule.

8- Last three numbers are divisible by 8.

9- Digits add up to a number divisible by 9.

10- Ends with 0.

If by more than one rule, you meant for the number 50, the rules would be 2, 5, and 10. Hope I helped.

There is actually a recursive formula of testing divisibility for seven, but it isn't nearly as nice as the other divisibility rules for 2-10.

Crab' date=' I have a favor to ask of you:

As 2sick4u has clearly stated, we need more efficiency in this place. Would it be possible to create a test for teachers? I myself can't, as I've no idea what to make it of.

:(

Thanks in advance.

A test for teachers would largely depend on what they wish to teach; there are too many different subjects for a single comprehensive test, and too many levels within a subject for a single qualifying test within any given subject (as demonstrated by the fact that we've got people offering to teach everything from 5th grade stuff to A-Levels). It could be possible to create them for individual levels within individual subjects, but it would be more trouble than it's worth to do it for everything.

If that would work, I'll see what I can do. As long as I can get this thread more organized, I'll do whatever it takes.
