BulletMan
There are alot of good cards in CSOC. plague spreader, BRD, etc. Now the point of this thread is to answer this simple question:Do you believe zombies or gigaplant decks will become top decks of the meta or close? Will they become competitive with GB's and teleDAD or will teleDAD find support from the zombies because they are DARK? Discuss
Skuldur
I think the new deck to beat will be Plaguesworns.
Benraino
Plants will become better but not nearly good enough to beat DaD.
werewolfjedi
Plants will become better but not nearly good enough to beat DaD. you mean on a regular basis right? 5 big beasts on turn 1 (2nd player) and you got just 1 or 2 things on the field could spell disaster. or even an OTK. which I think will be the way giga will win most of the time. ShinobiDark72
Crossroads will bring tons of new stuff to the table. But everyone's missing something: We're getting a TCG exclusive Gladiator Beast, What sounds like 2 TCG exclusive Plants and What sounds like TCG exclusive Psychic Support. (Gladiator Beast Retiari, Cactus Fighter, Seed of Flame, and Overdrive Teleporter, respectively) None of their stats, effects or rarity's have been confirmed, but they all sound like they'll bring something powerful to the table. Bottom line: based on what I do know about the set: Plaguespreader and Black Rose are the two best cards in the set and will be used the most. Just don't count any TCG exclusive stuff out before You even know what they do.
Phantom Roxas
Hopefully the meta will change to Gladiator Beast and Plaguesworn Synchro/Buster.
TotalObelisk
/Buster is definitely going to be in the meta once Crimson Crisis comes out, especially Stardust Dragon/Buster... I'm actually hoping plants won't be used too much in the meta since I don't like playing meta, hopefully just Gigaplant and lonefire will be the only overused ones... Phantom Roxas
I just want to see Tele-DAD DIE! Sure, Lightsworn made the top 16 at Regionals, (I think?) but only one of them. All of them were freakin' Tele-DAD!
Jesus
If anything could come close to Teli-DAD just to smack it around a couple of times, then it Teli-DAD would get a bit scared. I'm thinking with the release of BRD, plants will get a boost up. Not enough to beat Teli-DAD though.
GenzoTheHarpist
Plants get a huge boost but they will be low tier-one at best. They will never win a jump unless the TCG only cards are super good, or Crimson Crisis has plant support we haven't seen yet. They will be about equal to Zombies. CrabHelmet
/Busters are incredibly overrated and will not be meta. Plants don't get a large enough boost to become meta. Gladiator Beasts remain to be seen, since we don't know for certain what Retiari's text is. Tele-DAD will remain strong, but might shift in a Zombie-ish direction. Other than Tele-DAD variants, the next deck with a shot at being meta would be Lightcarriers.

Sure, maybe not meta-worthy, but you even said he's the best /Buster.2. But at least somewhat competitive, right?3. Retiari might not make much of an impact on Gladiator Beast Decks, aside from the fact that his name implies he is a retarded Bestiari.4. I was wondering when that would happen.5. Plaguesworn sounds better.

Plaguesworn sounds better. (1) He is indeed the best /Buster, being a 1-card OTK (albeit without the field clearing). However, being the best /Buster isn't good enough to be meta; there are better ways to win available. (2) What do you mean by "somewhat competitive"? They'll be better than before, but I don't see them as having a high chance of making Top 16. (3) We don't even know what Retiari does, so guessing what effect he will have on Gladiator Beast decks isn't going to be much use. However, there's a decent chance that it will involve hand control, since that's just about the only thing that Gladiator Beasts don't have already. (4) It's not a foregone conclusion, especially since shifting toward Zombies would involve sacrificing some of the powerful cards it currently uses. (5) No.

Also, how far DID Plants go?3) That would be nice if it relied on hand control.4) Yeah, I don't really see Zombie and Tele-DAD working well together.5) Everyone's entitled to their own opinions.
