.:pyramid:.
urr i talked about this ages ago, its ok but in this meta your lucky to have two facedowns to stay on the field past 1 turn, plus it only works if their is two facedowns in the first place. Phantom Roxas
Didn't we already recently discussed this? Anyway, this card is pretty bad, since it relies on destruction by battle and you have to choose, well... Two be the number thee, no more, no less. iAmNateXero
I like it still, I will see how it plays out.
Skuldur
it's horrible, has to be destroyed by battle and can only activate it's effect if there are 2 or more facedowns on your opponent's field
iAmNateXero
^on the field, Lock a gear town, or maybe that toy magician you set earlier. That sucker aint getting any use.

iAmNateXero
@ Enrise: this is prone to chainability, MST, storm, jinzo, decree, stratos, where this is prone to a side decked crow, and retari. Hmmm... decisions... decisions...
Guest PikaPerson01
---^ the 2 cant be compared Sure they can. In fact, Xing Zhen Hu is marginally better, since you can flip it on your own terms, or do it during the end phase when your opponent sets two. Cursed Fig is much more situational, much easier to chain to, much easier to avoid, and a waste of a normal summon. It's crap.

CrabHelmet
@ Enrise: this is prone to chainability' date=' MST, storm, jinzo, decree, stratos, where this is prone to a side decked crow, and retari. Hmmm... decisions... decisions...[/quote'] You're forgetting one very important fact: Cursed Fig needs to be destroyed by battle in order to use its effect. This makes it vulnerable to Dark Armed Dragon, Snipe Hunter, Caius the Shadow Monarch, Torrential Tribute, Phoenix Wing Wind Blast, Trap Dustshoot, Destiny Hero - Doom Lord, Red Dragon Archfiend, Neo-Spacian Grand Mole, Mind Control, Creature Swap, Gladiator Beast Gyzarus, Ehren, Lightsworn Monk, Celestia, Lightsworn Angel, and Judgment Dragoon. Of these, only Gladiator Beast Gyzarus was not mained, sided, or extra'd in the Top 16 of the most recent SJC (Charlotte), and Gladiator Beasts still made a strong enough showing to spoil decks weak against them. The fact that it needs to remain in the graveyard makes it vulnerable to Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer, D.D. Crow, Gladiator Beast Retiari, Monster Reborn, The Transmigration Prophesy, and Goyou Guardian - all of which, except Retiari (who was unreleased), were either mained or sided (or extra'd) in the Top 16 of SJC Charlotte. And let's not forget that Zombie World was recently released in the TCG. Zombie World makes this card vulnerable to shenanigans with Red-Eyes Zombie Dragon, Il Blud, Zombie Master, Deathkaiser Dragon, Deathkaiser Dragon/Buster, and Paladin of the Cursed Dragon. Oh, and speaking of Zombies, this card is also vulnerable to Revived King Ha Des and Book of Life. Oh, and before you post a list of cards that can get around Xing Zhen Hu: don't bother. The purpose of this post was to point out that your conception of Cursed Fig as a nigh-unstoppable card was horribly, horribly flawed, not to create a competition to see which card's list of counters is longer. iAmNateXero
nigh-unstoppable card This card is not Amplifier, Spiritualism, nor similar to Super Poly; and shouldn't be compared like them. As to removing their continuous effect (by however they are met, destroyed as a result of battle, or simply flipped face up) it would be simpler, and waste less resources to remove a card from the field, than to remove a card from the graveyard. Total prevention of either effect/ card was not the question, but which would be easiest suited for the current meta. IMO: Spell & Trap cards are easier to remove in the current meta.
