sorry but wat is GDP..???

Gross domestic product. In simplest terms, it's the amount of money a country has in a year.

GDP per capita is the GDP divided by the population, to get the average income per household.

Also, IIRC, America has the highest GDP, though my own sources are probably outdated, and you gotta understand those multimillionaires like Gates tend to throw off the average. GDP isn't equivalent to standard of living.

Norway's nominal GDP per capita is around $83 500, second only to Luxembourg, at $103 125.

The United States is down to twelfth with $45 725.

Norway is hopeless at hockey, Finland and Sweden however, the two neighboring countries, are even better than Canada now. =D

But yeah, there isn't even a Norwegian Olympic hockey team, and Finland and Sweden made the finals, Canada lagged being and lost to some surprising teams like Switzerland, which was considered a horrible hockey team, but did fairly well.

GP = Games played (Column 1 of numbers in charts below.)

W = Wins (Column 2 of numbers in charts below.)

L = Losses (Column 3 of numbers in charts below.)

T = Ties (Column 4 of numbers in charts below.)

GF = Goals For (Column 5 of numbers in charts below.)

GA = Goals Against (Column 6 of numbers in charts below.)

PTS = Points (2 for a win, 1 for a tie, and 0 for a loss.) (Column 7 of numbers in charts below.)

Group A

Team

FIN 5 5 0 0 19 2 10

SWI 5 2 1 2 10 12 6

CAN 5 3 2 0 15 9 6

CZE 5 2 3 0 14 12 4

GER 5 0 3 2 7 16 2

ITA 5 0 3 2 9 23 2

FIN=Finland, SWI=Switzerland, CAN=Canada, CZE=Czech Republic, GER=Germany, ITA=Italy

Group B

SVK 5 5 0 0 18 8 10

RUS 5 4 1 0 23 11 8

SWE 5 3 2 0 15 12 6

USA 5 1 3 1 13 13 3

KAZ 5 1 4 0 9 18 2

LAT 5 0 4 1 11 29 1

SVK=Slovakia. RUS=Russia SWE=Sweden KAZ=Kazakhstan. USA=America LAT=Latvia

The last two teams in each division didn't qualify for the final tournament-ish part. (Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, and Latvia.)

Tournament Round 1 (Quarter-Finals)

Czech Republic (3) vs Slovakia (1)

Sweden (6) vs Switzerland (2)

Canada (0) vs Russia (2)

USA (3) vs Finland (4)

Round 2 (Semi-Finals)

Czech Republic (3) vs Sweden (7)

Russia (0) vs Finland (4)

Gold Medal Match (Finals)

Finland (2) vs Sweden (3) - Sweden wins Gold Medal. Finland wins Silver.

Bronze Medal Match

Czech Republic (3) vs Russia (0) - Czech Republic wins Bronze Medal.

And that's how it happened.

However, at last year's IIHF (International Ice Hockey Federation Competition)

Russia got 1sr, Canada got 2nd, Finland Got 3rd, and Sweden 4th

Norway participated in this one, but didn't do too well. =P
