Which card game would win, Yu-Gi-Oh or Duel Masters?

Recommended Posts

No' date=' Duel Masters is a ripoff of MTG, not Yu-Gi-Oh.

Anyways, people should stop calling every card game other than MTG a ripoff of Yu-Gi-Oh. >_> <_>:-( *facepalm* *headdesk* Do moar research.

Never played MTG so I wouldn't know it was a bigger rip of that.

Their are many card games, and of the ones I know of only Duel Masters is like Yugioh. It are the common elements that make people think it is a rip of Yugioh.

Do you really have to ask YUGIOH Duel Masters SUCKS

Yugioh is infinatly better

Duel Masters is just a lousy rip off of yugioh' date=' i watched the show and it seemed like a big rip off.

Yu-Gi-Oh wins. DM is just a rip of MTG' date=' which does not make DM any better.

What makes Yu-Gi-Oh better other than a fact that DM is a ripoff? Do moar research.

I think that DM > MTG.

Idiot, DM is not a ripoff of YGO, but MTG. And even then, DM > MTG.

You still havent answered my question:

Do you like yugioh more than DM?

No. And don't jump to conclusions. (You'll see what I mean' date=' because you might do it later.)

This question makes me think of conversions. Anyway, Yu-Gi-Oh is based off of MtG...for crying out loud. They just rearranged some of the Phases and card types. If anyone's actually read the MtG booklet besides me, you would know what I'm saying.

This post is win.

They're both based off MtG yes, i've played Yu-Gi-Oh and MtG, so i do notice the MANY similarities, but there are differences as well. As for DM, i know the basics, and i notice the 'mana' and the 'land' seem somewhat similar...

I remember reading a fanfiction once with Duel Master cards vs. Yu-Gi-Oh ones. Hilarious, the yu-gi-oh cards crushed the opposition at first, but then the DM cards got over 6000 attack with no support, then it got a little tricky... In the end the yu-gi-oh cards one, but meh.

I like Yu-Gi-Oh more then DM or MtG yes, but that doesn't mean I hate the others.

I've tried to play Duel Masters.

All it is is a crappy rip of yugioh.

This.

And Byakuya, DM is still alive in Japan.

Yu-Gi-Oh is very different from Magic the Gathering, in the sense that every number is multiplied by four hundred. >_> More seriously, the most fundamental difference is Yu-Gi-Oh's lack of a meaningful resource system beyond basic card advantage.

So, anyhow, was there a point to this topic beyond "Duel Masters is the best game ever because I said so, and anyone who disagrees is wrong"?
