Hardly!

The script format cannot allow for many aspects that make a book great.

It has always been Book>Movie.

Even novelizations of classic movies (such as 2001: A Space Odyssy) have been a drastic improvement on the movie.

And I read Twilight.

The characters were 2 dimensional at best

They had static (unchanging) personalities

They storyline was flawed

I felt like I had dropped a significant amount of IQ points after finishing it.

If you want a good book about Vampires, read Cirque du Freak, or Dracula.

If you want a good book in general, read Ender's Game, Steven King's It, 2001: A space odyssy, Steven King's The Stand, Harry Potter 6 (best one of the series), Steven King's The Shining, Artemis Fowl, Steven King's Skeleton Key, The Forgotten Man, Steven King's Different Seasons, the choices are endless!

And Yes, I do like Steven King's works!

I did read Cirque du Freak, all the others, and still do. Artemis Fowl isn't that good. Steven King confuses me, plus I'm too poor to buy his books, I will read Ender's Game, heard of it before, Harry Potter series done, and I'm not too bothered about A Space Odyssey. Script has the advantage of acting, and of more accurately conveying passion and emotions. And with Twilight, their 2D-ness makes it more interesting. I'll admit some of the stuff is crap, but mostly it's good. Since their personalities don't change, it shows their resilience as a character. Besides, that's what sequels are for.

One of my friends want to marry Edward. She's obsessed.

And' date=' yeah, I've read them. Who hasn't?

^^ Cirque du Freak: Eh, not my cup of tea, thank you.

Darren Shan is win. Read his works immediately. And has she figured out yet that Edward is fictional?

Stephen King's It was a crappy movie. The acting was good but it didn't have the same scaryness as it did in the book.

Also Harle> Twilight.
