Rainbow Dragon hard to Summon? O_o

So, people think that Rainbow Dragon is hard to Summon...

I have a message for you:

You know nothing about Crystal Beasts!

Just because you need to have 7 different Crystal Beasts in the Graveyard or on the field means it is hard to Summon?

Let's see.

You have CB Sapphire Pegasus, you Summon it and put 1 CB in your S & T Zone. They attack it and you activate Crystal Pair - Battle Damage is 0, but Pegasus is in the Graveyard.

Now you have 2 CB in the S & T Zone + 1 in the Graveyard.

Then you activate Rare Value and send one of them to the Graveyard in order to draw 2 new cards...

And then you activate Crystal Tree + Crystal Blessing= 2 CB placed in the S & T Zone + by Tributing Crystal Tree another different Crystal Beast= 4 different Crystal Beasts

Then, Crystal Beacon= Sp.Summ. one CB from S & T Zone...

Pegasus for example. Activate it's ability = 6 different CB.

+ one more thing. You haven't Normal Summoned a monster this turn...So do it! There you go! 7 different CB in second turn...Very complicated isn't it?

You might think that there is no chance that someone could draw these cards...And you are in right! This is just example...I didn't mention comboes with Crystal Release, Promise...+ many more...

you just used a 6+ card combo to summon a beatstick. It's easier to use Exodia

Yeh i agree and i'm not gonna make it Soooooooooooooooooooo long cause this isn't an SA and i'm not at school

But i also think it easier to summon blue eyes ultimate than rainbow dragon too

8-card combos that take 3 turns are so competitive.

Especially when your opponent activates, let's say, Torrential Tribute at the end.

Also, this combo requires you to activate Crystal Beacon when all your s/t card zones are occupied. Doing that makes you look cool.

Rainbow Dragon is only good in a deck specifically designed to support it. It can be good once it hits the Field, but yes it is hard to summon. It also is useless early in the game. Could you imagine drawing 3 of these on your 1st turn? I know it is unlikely, but it just makes my point. Rainbow Dragon is good, but too hard to play so it isn't very competitive.

You are both bad at this game. Just count the number of cards he used for this combo.

I never said this combo was any good, but there you go making wild assumptions again. It's not hard to get out in a dedicated Rainbow deck with about 1/4 of the cards be able to bring out Rainbow Dragon (Path, Gravity and the Dragon himself) and a decent draw engine and Sapphs and the such. I already knew it wasn't worth it however, and said that.

I run a Crystal Abundance OTK deck. I threw a Rainbow Dragon in for the fun of it one day. It honestly doesn't get in the way. It's fun to summon just 4 Crystal Beasts and then bring Rainbow Dragon out, even though you were going to win anyways. Over a couple months, I slowly changed it to a Rainbow Dragon OTK deck. Very easy to do. And, very easy to get out. With my deck anyways. I only use one of them though.

You know I can use stratos to search malicious, then sp summon dark grepher using malicious, discard a dark to dump a dark and sp summon dark armed dragon. It's like a 2 card combo (seriously having a dark monster in your hand doesn't count in tele-dad) and both can be searched by rota in a deck that draws 10 times more than a crystal beast deck. Plus it sp summons a GO(O)D beatstick, all that in a single turn.

When you compare rainbow dragon to today's boss monster (gyzarus, dad, jd) he's a million times harder to summon and has a crappy effect.

I've ran Crystal Abundance Otk, Ancient city Lockdown, and a normal Crystal Beast deck.

In Crystal Abundance = I ran it and it was ALWAYS a dead draw.

In Ancient City = No, in this deck you don't even use ALL the CB's

Norm. CB's = Hamon, is much easier to summon, and Rainbow isn't worth it.

I suggest adding a Elemental Hero Neos, a Future Fusion, and ONE Rainbow Dragon. Using this, Rainbow Neos is easier to summon then Rainbow dragon.
