They are usually mistaken for elves, kind of manatees are mistaken for mermaids. But an actual Faerie... nobody's really seen them before. Since the 1900 normal Faerie nests and cities simply vanished off the face of the Earth; researchers searched far and wide in their usual nesting grounds but found none. I have seen some paintings, but are probably fake.

Its typed FAIRIES.

@Davok; oh . . . so he might of noticed you' date=' but just thought nothing of you.

@Ragnarok; Humans don't forget easily. "Myths" have survived from the early [b']BCs[/b]

Fix'd.

Davok' date=' are you saying Faeries and Fairies are not the same thing here? First we need to know that (or if it's just a misspelling)

No, Faerie and Fairies are the same thing. Just different names. I just prefer to call them Faerie, though.

true. Like the silver killing werewolfs? any ol' bullet would kill them.

However- there is some truth the to wolfsbane myth.

Actually, you'd be surprised what a negative reaction silver is to a werewolf's regenerative properties. Shooting a lead bullet to a werewolf bone causes minor cracking. Shooting a silver bullet at a werewolf bone would actually puncture the bone.

anything is possible, i mean it seems that humanity is so focused with progress and i have seen this is my school and the ppl around me, that we forget the past it seems like less and less people are focused less with history and more with Greed and technology. soon it will be the dark ages again and well we will lose history again as we did so many times in the past and then we will start again.

That's nothing new. We have to worry about what's happening right now all the time' date=' so few people ever care about what happened in the past and therefore we forget (maybe not completely, but it turns to myth). That's when the disaster will repeat

[/quote']

thank you thats why soon or some time when the generation is gone WW1 and WW2 qill become myth them selves.

I know silver is used commonly for werewolf killing in films today, but I thought they just made that up.

Oh I doubt that one. Too many memories across the world have to remind us
