Larxene
Wait, seriously? How could any of you possibly want to keep that dog alive? It's 14 years old, it should've been dead a while ago, and it can't even move. It's suffering horribly, and all of you want to keep it alive? ANIMAL CRUELTY. EDIT: Also, I don't need to brighten up. The world is cruel. Apparently I'm one of the only people here who can accept it, and deal with my problems effectively.

Lazer Yoshi
Well, it does need to be Put to Sleep. However, he may just wait while the Appointment gets set up, and spend as much time with her as Possible in that Time Frame. And even if the world is Cruel, doesn't mean you have to be. Sparta™
I know many of you probably don't want to hear about my dog' date=' but I feel so much better when I share some things. A few days ago my dog's leg was growing a huge bump on it so we went to the veterinarian and they didn't know what it was. We went back a few days later for a few more tests on our dog 'Lily' and the veterinarian told us that out dog, Lily, has an aggressive bone cancer that cannot be cured. Now, about a week later, my dog has an even bigger bump and cannot walk. When she has to go to the bathroom we have to lift her outside and hold her so she can do her buisness, it's very sad to watch. Her leg is almost always bleeding and we might have to put her to sleep soon. If we do have to put her to sleep soon, it will be after Christmas. This is sad because our dog is 14 years old(in dog years), has arthritis, a heart murmer, she is deaf, and now she has cancer. And to top it all off, our other dog, Phoebe won't stop bothering Lily and Lily is whining all the time. I love Lily and don't want her to die.... If my dog does die soon, then Phoebe will be all alone. Phoebe is only 9 months old and cannot be left alone for 6-10 hours a day. There is no choice, though. I know most members don't care and they'll post stuff like "We don't care. REPORTED!!!" or whatever, but I had to get this message across. Don't report it. You'll only hurt yourself. I'm incredably sad to hear this horrable news, and I'm sure you people won't even give a thought about what has happened. This could affect my life...and my stay on YCM.[/quote'] This is horrible, I know how you feel. One time my dog, Armand, was playing with a dog friend (a bulldog) and the dog threw a bone up in the air and it hit Armand in the head. He was bleeding from the head, he had brain trauma, his head was all messed up, and he soon went blind. Then we had to put him to sleep, and he was only 5. I wish I could stop crying (I seriously am).:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry: I know how you feel, it's alright, spend as much time as possible with your dog and have your last few moments with him, soon you'll feel better. Everything will get better soon, don't worry. You'll never stop loving your dog, he'll always be with you, and you won't ever be sad, and you'll be happy to know you always loved that dog and it always loved you. Even when he dies, you'll get over it and you'll feel as if he's always with you, it's a thing nobody can resist. Sorry if I don't make sense, I just let everything from my feelings spill out. Hope you understand what I mean. God, I hope I don't get insulted by somebody again.

Sander
*sigh* No offense glasstin, but Claire is right, keeping the dog alive for THAT long is just not right. It will only suffer. Tiger, get the vet to put Lily down, now.

Saturn of Elemia
I feel your pain, buddy. The best thing that you can do right now is to end her suffering. It's simply cruel to let your dog continue to suffer in such a manner. It may sound heartless, but it is out of compassion.

Raelen
And I was having a good day.Hang in there. I know what it's like to lose someone you care about. The best choice would be to put her to sleep. (She is in pain after all)You will get over it, but it will be hard for awhile. Don't feel that you need to go on YCM during that time. Sander
Again, I have to agree with Shanoa. And the same thing happened to my dog too, expect she got a cancer under her stomach. Heck, even my aunt told me that she was already searching for a place to die. And Tiger, know what we did? They took her to the vet and hed the vet to put her down. You should do it to.
