SephirothKirby
Yeah, um. Anyway. Arcana Force XXI - The World, banned?Mage Power, banned? Card Trooper, unlimited?Ceasefire, unlimited?Magician of Faith, unlimited?Torrential Tribute, unlimited? I should probably know, I'm sure at least one of them is brutally obvious, but I might as well throw this out there.
CrabHelmet
Arcana Force XXI - The World' date=' banned?[/quote'] No purpose beyond locking. Mage Power' date=' banned?[/quote'] Facilitates OTK's too much; basically, it provides too much ATK too easily. Card Trooper' date=' unlimited?[/quote'] Machine Duplication is banned. In the absence of Machine Duplication, Card Trooper is merely a mediocre floater. Magician of Faith' date=' unlimited?[/quote'] Why not? Torrential Tribute' date=' unlimited?[/quote'] Again, why not? I'm sure at least one of them is brutally obvious That would be Card Trooper.
SephirothKirby
Ayep, I didn't notice Machine Duplication banned. That explains Card Trooper. I dunno, I've always felt Magician of Faith was incredibly powerful, but looking at this banlist with that in mind, I can't really come up with a reason for her to be banned. I will have to let this one go, I have nothing to argue. Torrential Tribute can destroy anything the opponent brings out, and easily give you a +1 or more. No Heavy Storm taken into mind (which is a good thing for the same reasoning), but maybe with 3 MSTs that would be taken care of? I dunno, I can't imagine running 3 MSTs, but I have trouble putting myself into an artificial banlist, I would have to actually abide by it to provide any reasonings. I never thought Mage Power was too powerful, but I suppose I forgot to take Heavy Storm into effect, without that it would be easy to gain a lot of power, but without Heavy Storm it's harder to clear the field for an OTK, so ... argh. I could take it or leave it. On The World, what's wrong with a card based on locking? Like I said, I have trouble putting myself into an artificial banlist, maybe that deck type would be too powerful under this. Actually, with Reasoning and Monster Gate unlimited, it would be really fast. Well, alright, I should've thought for myself this time, I don't even know if my logic is any good, but I try :/ E: Still think Burn would be too powerful with 3x Level Limit - Area B, 3x Ceasefire, and 3x Gravity Bind. Its power is limited by the number of monsters that the opponent summons; it cannot generate large amounts of advantage unless the opponent summons large numbers of monsters without bothering to protect them. It's also really not hard to play around at all. Tabris
Also, I never said what TToC should be at, I simply said it needs to be on the banlist. However, I noticed you also PM'd PikaPerson01 about this, but she didn't get involved in your trolling too much, if at all. That shows that she's more mature than the Super Mod of TCG. That's sad, actually. I only change because like you said, you give valid reasons. Yay for yes men! Such a lock is essentially equivalent to an OTK. ... though the procedures to achieve such a goal (Bushi, Samsara, Scout Plane, etc.) are tedious at the least. Isn't easy. Should that be grounds enough?

Should that be grounds enough?[/quote'] OTK's that are not quite easy enough to affect the meta are a borderline thing, but the fact that The World has no real purpose outside of performing a lockdown means that no strategies are lost by his elimination (as opposed to, say, banning Catapult Turtle or Chain Material or Fusion Gate to stop their OTK combo, since each of those cards has other uses that would be lost by banning them, thus rendering the elimination of that OTK a mistake until said OTK becomes strong enough to pose a serious problem). Because of this, I would not consider it a mistake to place The World at 0, but I would also not consider it a mistake to place it at 3.

Burn variants. For example, it turns a lot of Vanilla support into Ookazi's that do 1500 damage instead of 800 thanks to BEWD.

Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Do you really think it's fine to have a format where blasting away the back row every turn is fair? Traps are practically worthless nowadays. Is getting rid of a whole type of card a basis for a good format?
