A new home, a new duelist It's a shiny day, and about 8 am, school starts.Yugi and Jonouchi are in the midst of a duel.Teacher *comes in*The students get attracted only Jonouchi isn't. Jonouchi: Make your self ready Yugi, then I summon... *teacher takes his red eyes out of his hand*Jonouchi: But mr. Teacher, that's a very rare card! *smiles nicely* hehe, could you please give it back?Teacher: Of course, but only after class.Jonouchi: *hits the dust*Teacher: *goes to his desk* Kids, I'd like to introduce you some new classmates of yours: Rex Hivatari, and Vapo Ichigo.Vapo: Hello!Rex: *just pulls his eyebrow up and sits down to a place*Vapo: *sits down right next to Rex*Anzu: *on Vapo's other side* Hi, I'm Anzu.Vapo: Hi!Teacher: *starts the class* So today we have the French revolution... After school: Vapo: *waving goodbye to someone* Ok, than we'll speak again tomorrow Anzu!Rex: Come on Vapo, our parents aren't at home.Vapo: And what?Rex: Like your parents told me, since I?m older than you, I'm supposed to look after you.Vapo: Whaaaaaat?!Rex: You heard me right! Come on!Jonouchi: *crashes into Rex, while talking to Yugi and walking around*Rex: Hey! Watch where you're going numbskull!Jonouchi: *makes an angry face* Me, a numbskull? You crashed into me!Rex: *recognises Yugi* Hey! You're Mutou Yugi right?Yugi: Eerrhm, yeah!Rex: Man, I can't believe it, a real star of dueling! You're my favourite! I want to be like you!Jonouchi: *interrupts* Hey! I'm here too, forgot that?Rex: Just don't be so sure about your self! But I've gotta admit, that you're a good player.Jonouchi: *makes a proud smiling face*Rex: ? The third best that is, and anyone can be the third best.Jonouchi: *hits the dust* Oh yeah, well look big guy! If you have such a big mouth, why don't you show me what you can do? Rex: If you insist.Vapo:I wouldn't do that if I were you Jonouchi!Jonouchi: Ah, I can beat such a sucker up in 5 turns with ease!Yugi:Oh my, Jonouchi runs into his doom again. The Duel: Rex: lp 4000, 5 cards Jonouchi: lp 4000, 5 cards Both: Let's duel!Jonouchi: You may go first!Rex: No no, ladies first!Jonouchi: I'll shut your pie hole up! *draws a card* All right I summon Aligator sword (1500/1200) into attack mode, and end my turn!Rex: *draws* My turn! And I'll play a card face down, and summon Sailor Minimoon (1600/800), in attack mode.Jonouchi:What? A fairy?Minimoon: atk: 1600--------1700Jonouchi: *in a shock* What, how did you do that? Her atk raised!Rex: Minimoon gets an extra 100 atk after all the sailor monsters on my field, including her self. Now go Minimoon, attack!Minimoon: *smashes the Aligator sword by the head and destroys it* Jonouchi: lp 4000------3800Rex: *4 cards* You're on!Jonouchi: *draws* Watch this! I summon little winged Guardian (1400/1800) in attack mode, and activate the equip spell Legendary sword!little winged Guardian: 1400/1800------1700/2100Jonouchi: little winged Guardian attack Minimoon!Rex: With that you triggered my quick play spell: Sailor Crystal! This card lets me summon a Sailor monster up to lv 4 from my deck.Jonouchi: *watches in awe*Rex: So I summon Sailor Mercury! (1700/1200) and of course she has a special ability too: she raises the atk of every water attribute monster on the field by 500.Mercury: atk 1700-----------2200Rex: Hope you didn't forget Minimoon's special ability. Minimoon: atk 1700---------1800Rex: So, looks like your little warrior isn't so strong now. Minimoon: *Blocks attack and destroys little winged Guardian*Jonouchi: *lp 3800-----3700* Than I throw this face down and end my turn!Rex: *draws* Mercury! Minimoon! Attack him directly! (total atk 4000)Yugi: Oh no! Jonouchi can loose all his life points by that attack!Joey: Not so fast! I activate Scapegoat to protect me!Mercury and Minimoon: *fly at Jonouchi, but their attack is blocked by four cuddly, sheep like creatures*Scapegoats: 0/0, defense position.Mercury and Minimoon: *destroy two scapegoats*Rex: *5 cards* Anyway, you're on!Jonouchi: *draws, 4 cards* This doesn't look too good. I couldn't even scratch him. Well, maybe a little trick will do it. I activate a magic card: Sword and shield. This switches the atk of a monster with it's def. Rex: *smiles*Minimoon: 1800/800---800/1800Mercury: 2200/1200---1200/2200Jonouchi: Now I summon Panther warrior in attack mode! And I must offer a monster to attack, but I just offer my scapegoat token. Panther attack his Sailor Mercury!Scapegoat: *disappears*Panther: *jumps in the air and destroys Mercury with a slash*Rex: *lp 4000---3200* That's useless.Jonouchi: Well, that ends my turn. You're on!Vapo: Uh-oh! Jonouchi's gonna get it!Yugi: Why do you say that?Vapo: Just watch! Rex has some good tricks!Rex: *draws* I activate the magic card: seven crystal balls!Jonouchi: Seven crystal balls? What the hell is that?Rex: That brings a monster back from my graveyard. I guess you know what that means. I summon Sailor Mercury into attack mode!Jonouchi: Uh no, not this fairy again!Rex: But that's not all! I call forth your doom: Sailor Venus! (1900/1500)Jonouchi: Not again! What does this one do then?Rex: It raises the atk of every light attribute monster on my field by 500. And since she herself is a light monster and Minimoon is one too, they both get stronger.Minimoon: atk 1800---2300Venus: atk 1900---2400 Rex: And we may not forget Minimoon's special ability which raises her atk for every sailor monster.Minimoon: atk 2300---2400Rex: And now I activate the equip spell: Heart whip! This increases the atk of my Venus by 500 and lets her attack every monster on the field.Venus: atk 2400---2900Rex: Venus! Attack Panther warrior and the Scapegoat token!Venus: *destroys Panther warrior and the Scapegoat token*Jonouchi: lp 3700---2800.Rex: And now Minimoon and Mercury attack him directly!Jonouchi: Nooooooooooo! *gets hit by a giant wave and smashed on the head by Minimoon* (lp 2800---------0)Rex: *takes on a winning pose* Now that's game!Jonouchi: *coughs* Unbelievable.Yugi: Hhmm... Impressive!Vapo: I told you!Rex: *grabs Vapo's hand* Come on Vapo, I'm starving.Vapo: *hits Rex's head* Let me go you idiot!Yugi: Well that's an odd friendship.Rex: *stops for a second* Yugi! I hope we meet again on a duel field!Yugi: *smiles*Me too.Rex: *walks away with Vapo* Well, see ya!Yugi: *falls into thinking* Well that's a strange guy, but he plays very well.Jonouchi: Ah, forget it! I didn't even play, just left him to have a good day.Yugi: Yeah right Jonouchi! End of episode 1. Good to be back home, in the greatest city of dueling.*end of intro* Episode 2.?Attack of the Elemental heroes? Rex and Vapo are walking to School. Vapo: Hurry up dummy! We're gonna be late!Rex: You really think I care?Vapo: If we hurry up a bit, we can still catch up to the duel between Yugi and Jonouchi before class.Rex: *runs way ahead of Vapo* What are you still waiting for than?Vapo: *smiles* Rex and Vapo arrive at school. Vapo: *greeting Anzu* Hi! Anzu: Hi, how was your day?Vapo: except of the fact that I spent my whole day with Rex, very well.Anzu: But how did you even get together with Rex?Vapo: I knew him since eternity.Anzu: You mean you've always been together with him?Vapo: Well, you see he may be an idiotic jerk sometimes, but he's my best friend after all. You just have to get to know him, that's all.Anzu: *beckons* later on: Rex: *leaves school* Vapo: Where are you going you pinhead? The duel: Judai: lp 4000, 5 cards Rex: lp 4000, 5 cards Judai: *draws* I summon Elemental hero Avian (1000/1000) in defense mode, and end my turn.Rex: My turn! *draws* I summon Sailor Minimoon (1600/800) in attack mode, and thanks to her special ability, she gains a 100 atk, after all the monsters those have Sailor in their name.Minimoon: atk 1600---1700 Judai: *falls thinking* Hhhhm!Rex: Sailor Minimoon, attack Avian!Minimoon: *destroys Avian*Rex: You're on!Judai: *draws* I activate The warrior returning alive! This lets me bring a monster back from my graveyard to my hand. That means, that I get my Avian back. After that I activate Polymerization. This let's me unite two of my monsters and I choose Avian and Burstinatrix to unite them to Elemental Hero Flame Wingman. Flame wing man! Attack!Flame wingman: *destroys Minimoon with a huge fireball*Rex: *lp 4000---3600* Big deal!Judai: Oh yeah? Well watch this. Elemental hero Flame wing man has a special ability to take the attack points of your monster down from your life points!Rex: Say what? Flame wing man: *Appears in front of Rex and sprites fire into his face* Rex: *lp 3600---1900* Judai: Now I leave a face down and call it a turn.Rex:*coughs* He's good. In the school: Vapo: Why that bastard Rex... ! I can't believe he just left me like that! What on Earth can he be doing now?Teacher: Would you mind paying attention to my lesson miss Ichigo?Vapo: Oh, sorry! Back to the duel: Judai: lp 4000 Rex: lp 1900 Flame wing man: 2100/1200Rex: *draws and smiles* Activate a spell: Sailor Crystal, which lets me summon a Sailor monster out of my deck. Say hello to Sailor Mercury! But she won't stay for long than I sacrafice her to summon ...Sailor moon, (2200/1700) which card of mine gets an extra 500 atk for every Sailor monster I have on the field, meaning herself too.Sailor moon: atk 2200---2700Rex: Sailor moon attack and destroy Flame wingman!Flame wing man: *Explodes after the strike *Judai: *lp 4000---3400* Well, you must be forgetting about my trap: Hero signal! This lets me summon an Elemental hero monster from my deck to the field. And I choose Elemental Hero Sparkman(1600/1400)!Rex: Fine! Your turn!Judai: *draws* I activate the magic card: Miracle Fusion! With help of this card, I can fuse my monster with another one in the graveyard, and I choose my Flame Wing man, and summon Shining Flare Wing man (2500/2100)! And of course he has a special ability too: He gets an extra 300 points for every Elemental hero in my graveyard. That means, since there are two, he gets 600.Shining Flare Wing man: atk 2500---3100.Judai: So now let's end this! Attack Shining Flare wing man!Shining flare wing man: *blasts Sailor moon to moon*Judai: And thanks to his special ability, which gets you a little headache, than takes the atk of your monster down from your lp.Rex: *smiles* Are you really so sure?Judai: What? Why didn't you lose any lp?Rex: I didn't loose because when you attacked me, I threw a card into the grave yard that could reduce the damage to 0. And that card is: Mokona!Judai: Wow, nice move! Man, that was a good tactic to defend your self.Rex: And I'm on! *draws* I activate the magic card: Seven crystal balls. This lets me bring a monster back from the graveyard, and I choose Sailor Moon. Than I summon Sailor Venus, who boosts every Light type monster with 500 points each. Moon: atk 2200---2700---3200Venus: atk 1900---2400Rex: And not to forget Moons special ability!Moon: atk 3200---3700Rex: Now Moon attack his Flare Wing man! *Flare wingman explodes* And than Venus Attack him directly! *Venus busts into Judai's stomach*Judai: lp 3400---400 Rex: That's all, your turn! The school is over: Vapo: Finally, I can start looking for that numb skull Rex! On the duel field: Judai: *draws* All right! Time to get my game on again! I activate Pot of greed! This lets me draw two new cards. *draws* Now I activate fusion recovery! This lets me bring a polymerization and a monster back from my graveyard. And while I have it back, I activate Polymerization and fuse Elemental heroes Burstinatrix and Clayman, to form Elemental hero Rampart Blaster (2000/2500)!Than i activate the field spell: Skyscraper! *huge skyscrapers appear around both duelists and their monsters*Rex: And what was that good for?Judai: You'll see! Rampart Blaster Attack Sailor Venus!Rampart Blaster: atk 2000---3000 *destroys Venus* Rex: *lp 1900---1300* Now wait a sec how did Rampart Blasters atk rise by 1000?Judai: Simple: When my monster is weaker than yours and the field spell is Skyscraper, my monster gets a whole 1000 points to his atk. So I set a card face down and call it a turn.Rex: *draws* Let's finish this! I summon Mink in attack mode! *a small dragon appears on the field* (800/1200)! Now attack Sailor moon! Destroy Rampart Blaster!Judai: Oh no you don't I activate my quick play spell: De-fusion! This divides my monster to his elements. *Clayman and Burstinatrix return onto the field and Sailor Moons light flash attack hits the ground right between them*Judai: Well, I guess so are my monsters in safety now.Rex: I still have my Mink.Judai: Are you kidding, that little guy couldn't harm any of my monsters.Rex: Details, details! My dragon can attack your lp directly if it1s needed. Mink! Attack Judai directly!Mink: *flies to Judai and hits him over the head*Judai: *lp 400---0 * Nice duel, and nice win. *gives Rex a hand*Rex: *smiles and shakes Judai's hand*Vapo: *just catches the last move* Nice work Rex! May I kidnap you for a second?Rex: Of course! If you excuse us... ?Judai: No problem, just go!Vapo: *pulls Rex away, blows hot air out and starts arguing him* Who do you think you are, leaving me alone, when I'm about to say something important? I'm just about to explain you how important school is, and you just leave me! If you happen to do that again, I will... ! Rex: What was that again, I wasn't listening!Vapo: You idiot! *hits him over the head*Rex: Ooooooooooooow! What did I do?!Judai: That's one funny girl!Rex: Don't worry! She'll cool down! *runs after Vapo*Judai: *smiles and makes a dumb face* Those are some funny guys... ! Episode 3. Undercover/Vapo's duel *in the school* Vapo: But I'm telling you, the teacher is playing duel monsters.Rex: You've gotta be kidding, that teacher hates all kids those have anything to do with cards. Except for you maybe, but that's because you are...*bang!*Rex: *falls out of the window right onto a bush* later on: *Vapo is walking home from school and sees the teacher again.* Vapo: It can't be! I have to take a closer look. *follows the teacher till home*Teacher: *enters and soon leaves too, but doesn't shut the door*Vapo: *sneaks in to investigate ans sees a horde of duel monster trophys* Wow, the teacher is a real champion. But one things not clear, why does he punish kids for playing?Teacher: Maybe because it has nothing to do in school.Vapo: Erhhhm, mister teacher sir... ? Teacher: May I know what you are doing here miss Ichigo?Vapo: Well, erhhm... I was just looking for evidence on you being... a duelist.Teacher: How do you know that?Vapo: Well, I saw you a few days ago, trading cards with some man.Teacher: Well, yes...Vapo: But if you're such a good duelist, why don't you tell anyone?Teacher: I'm a teacher and it's my duty to educate you, and not to play stupid games.Vapo: Oh, I see...Teacher: Now go home and this must stay a secret, you got me?Vapo: Why should it stay a secret? Teacher: What do you mean with that?Vapo: What if someone got to know about it?Teacher: You're not trying to blackmail me, are you miss Ichigo?Vapo: No, it's just that it's not a shame if someone plays games, even if he's an adult. It's the heart that you give into the thing he believes in.Teacher: That may be right but noone may know about that, no matter what happens.Vapo: That may be true, but a duelist only knows one language.Teacher: You are a very smart girl Vapo. You know what? Let's duel and if you win, you may tell everyone you want to, but if I win, you all get triple homework every day.Vapo: Than I can't afford to loose. Let's duel! The Duel: Teacher: lp 4000 Vapo: lp 4000 Teacher: You can go first.Vapo: Right! *draws, 6 cards in hand* I summon Trixti, the god of water(1320/1405) in attack mode. You go!Teacher: *draws* I summon the Fiendish Class Log (500/600) in attack mode. *a giant log appears*Log: opens up his mouth and has huge jaws and a long tongue with which he pulls Trixti in.Vapo: What? Log: atk 500/600 ----> 1820/2005Teacher: This card can capture another monster from the field and posess its points. Log, attack her lifepoints directly!Vapo: *lp 4000--->2180*Teacher: Now I leave a facedown and end my turn. *4 cards in hand*Vapo: Than it's my turn! *draws* I summon Spawn of Darkness (2100/700) in attack mode! Attack Fiendish Log!Spawn: *Destroys Log with his claws * Teacher: lp 4000--->3780Trixti: *Returns to the field* 1320/1405Vapo: Now Trixti, attack him directly!Trixti: *unleashes a wave of water at the teacher*Teacher: *lp 3780--->2460*Vapo: That ends my turn. *5 cards*Teacher: *draws* I summon evil pencil case(1000/500) in attack mode. Than I equip him with magical pencil, which raises his points by 500.Pencil case: 1000/500--->1500/1000. *charges at the spawn of darkess and erases it from the field*Teacher: My monster's special effect also is activated when he is summoned he destroys a monster from my opponents field.Vapo: Not good. *sheds manga tears*Teacher: Pencil case attack Trixti!Pencil case: *erases Trixti from the field*Vapo: *lp 2180--->2000* Well, with that you activated the special effect of my monster. You see, when it gets destroyed by another monster and sent to the grave, I may summon two other monsters to the field. So, I first summon Ayden the angel of kindness and honor in defence mode (870/2000), and Wiz(0/0), who can copy any card that was recently sent to the grave. So, I choose my Spawn of Darkness.Wiz: *turns into spawn of darkness* 0/0--->2100/700Vapo: Now's my turn! *draws* I activate Polymerisation, and fuse my Ayden and my Spawn of darkness, to create my Shas the dark fox girl (3670/3000), and for the final stroke, I activate Crystal heart. This enlarges the atk of my dark fox girl by 400Shas: atk 3670--->4070Vapo: Now Shas! Attack his Pencil case!Shas: *tears pencil case apart* Teacher: What? *lp 2460--->0* Impossible!Vapo: *starts celebrating* Yeah, I won!Teacher: No wonder you are my best student.Vapo: Thanks, and you're our greatest teacher.Teacher: I can see that you'll make an excelent duelist.Vapo: The bad side of it is, that Rex still is better than me.Teacher: You don't say, and what if you could beat him once?Vapo: Well, that would be nice, but no can't do. All I know I learned from Rex and no matter what I do, no matter what the circumstances are, he can still come back from any stance.Teacher: Well, he definietly is better than his grades are.Vapo: *with a dumm face* Yeah, that's true.Teacher: Come on, I'll take you home!Vapo: No thank you, I'd rather walk home.Teacher: Well, better study for tomorrow, than we have some tests of History, and oral testin grammar, than a test of Phisics, and … *enlsists a lot*Vapo: *makes a dumb face* Next day: Rex: *Barely survived the day* Aww man, what a day! What's up with you Vapo? Did you find out anything about the teacher?Vapo: Nothing special, he was just aiming to get some rare cards for his nephew. He's such a nice guy.Rex: Nice guy? Well, I'd doubt that.Vapo: Maybe if you wouldn't be skipping class...Rex: Ah come on, that man is only nice, when pigs fly...Vapo: *laughs*Rex: What? Did I say something? *with a big ? On his head*Vapo: You'll get to know sometime. *starts running ahead*Rex: *starts running after her* Hey, wait! Vapo! Where are you running? Wait for me!
