Mr. Judgment Dragon
Gold and Silver were the only good ones. I was never too fond of Crystal. Mainly because it lacked the cloning cheat on Gold and Silver.
Cin
How can we argue fact? I remember having to get a rom coz GS and C had all died on me just to play it again. If they'd sorted the levels out on the Kanto Gyms, it would have been perfect, but it is annoying getting your team to Lv 70 for the E4, then facing Lv 36s....in a gym....you can sleep walk through the Kanto gyms. Akira
Agreed. I played through Red, Yellow and Silver, tried Ruby and grew bored.

Felix
Well I've heard that G/S/C series were the best and I'm not going to entirely disagree with you but with more than double the Pokes and usuable moves and the most awesome thing about the newer games, Wifi, G/S/C series does seem to be lacking. I personally think that the latest games outway them in most respects. I think for the time they were made G/S/C is, reletively speaking, better than DP and Pt but DP and Pt are better games. AuraMaster
the only reason 1st gen is 1st for me is aerodactyl, dragonite, (hard to tell, isnt it) Alakazam and Gengar2nd gen: herecross, tyranitar, lugia, umbreon3rd gen: gardevoir, blaziken, claydol, swampert, zangoose, absol, banette, breloom, salamence, flygon, swellow.... maybe 3rd gen gets 1st?4th gen: Weavile, Gallade, Lucario, Bastiodon, Garchomp, Infernape, Roserade, Togekiss, Porygon Z, Yanmega... no 4th gen definatly tied w/ 1st for best

If it wasnt for that, Weavile wouldnt really be that fantastic.

Larxene
DPP is only better if you like to play online. I don't. Plus, some of the Pokemon are just retarded. (Probopass.) GSC is still my favorite, and always will be. =)(Platinum is epic though.)
Dark
I do admit Nintendo ran out of Pokemon ideas, and quickly. I mean, Budew? C'mon, they could not have thought of a pre-evelution for something else? Online battling is the core of the newer generations. I do admit G/S/C were awesome, but not as good as the newer versions.
