[DISC] Painful Choice

Recommended Posts

Fascinating. Albus is incapable of conceiving of a greater use for this than deck thinner in Exodia with a minor positive side effect.

Thats the best use.

Because Exodia FTK decks pwn everything else.

Gee, let's see, we could thin our decks, or we could win the game instantly. I WONDER WHICH WE SHOULD DO

Discuss this card.

You can add one card to your hand' date=' but four cards are automatically sent to the Graveyard. If you choose 4 crappy cards and one good card, your opponent will choose a crappy card to add to your hand. If you choose all good cards, not only will you lose 4 cards to the Graveyard, but your opponent will also know those cards. I don't see any possible combos, either.

[/quote']

Well this is a great card for Exodia Necross because you pic all 5 exodia peices the opponent choses one all the others go to the graveyard then just set the last one on the field and wait for it to be destroyed, then you can summon Exodia Necross.

can you say 4 different lightsworns:P

this card is just INSANE' date='if the cards where removed from play thn MAYBE it coudl be unbanned but no this card is truly truly amazing

[/quote']

If this card were to remove cards from play, add Golden Humonculis, Gren Maju Da Eiza, and other cards that gain ATK and DEF for every card from play.

Besides Lightsworn and S.S'ers that require gravebabies' date=' and exodia, and deck thinning...

[b']...it makes Shadow Ghoul Stronger.[/b] :(

anything that makes Shadow Ghoul stronger should be banneded.

Should I treat this as a joke?

Everything Megaworm says is a joke. He's a joke account.

Once again, Ultimate Destiny proves that he is an anime n00b.

I SAID TO USE IT FOR A INSTENT WIN!!!

Thining deck out + Drawing cards + Exodia = WIN ON FIRST TURN

Now what dumbass would want some bloody wanker over a instent first turn win?

If you read correctly, you would have figured out, I am FOR Exodia FTW, not just thinning out deck, becuase you need that in Exodia.

Exodia decks wouldn't be able to compete with Exchange and Scientist even if every card - including Painful Choice, Pot of Greed, Graceful Charity, and all the Exodia pieces - was unlimited. It's extremely obvious that activating Painful Choice simply to thin an Exodia deck does not grant instant victory. What it grants is a slightly thinner deck.

Even the terrible anime knew a deck littered with 3/8th Exodia pieces was bad.

This.

Also, I actually laughed out loud at the bolded.

Oh, and even in Exodia, Painful Choice is better used for Dark Eruption / Backup Soldier / Dark Factory of Mass Production than as mere deck thinner.

advantages:

dont lose hand advantage

monsters that have effects that are useful in the grave

ss (wulf' date=' mezuki, DAD, JD, ect.)

ect.

ect

ect

ect

disadvantages:

... i cant think of any... unless your stupid...

[/quote']

only 1 disadvantage, you have less turns to live against a mill deck.
