CrabHelmet
Fascinating. Albus is incapable of conceiving of a greater use for this than deck thinner in Exodia with a minor positive side effect. Thats the best use. Because Exodia FTK decks pwn everything else. Gee, let's see, we could thin our decks, or we could win the game instantly. I WONDER WHICH WE SHOULD DO

Azure
' pid='1485653' dateline='1229724761'] Discuss this card. You can add one card to your hand' date=' but four cards are automatically sent to the Graveyard. If you choose 4 crappy cards and one good card, your opponent will choose a crappy card to add to your hand. If you choose all good cards, not only will you lose 4 cards to the Graveyard, but your opponent will also know those cards. I don't see any possible combos, either.[/quote'] Well this is a great card for Exodia Necross because you pic all 5 exodia peices the opponent choses one all the others go to the graveyard then just set the last one on the field and wait for it to be destroyed, then you can summon Exodia Necross. Exodia decks wouldn't be able to compete with Exchange and Scientist even if every card - including Painful Choice, Pot of Greed, Graceful Charity, and all the Exodia pieces - was unlimited. It's extremely obvious that activating Painful Choice simply to thin an Exodia deck does not grant instant victory. What it grants is a slightly thinner deck. Megaworm
:| Painful Choice could be bad for Exodia because someone could choose to NOT add exodia to your hand and you will begin losing pieces.

werewolfjedi
hmm lets see how this card is broken advantages: drop five cards from the deck dont lose hand advantage monsters that have effects that are useful in the grave ss (wulf' date=' mezuki, DAD, JD, ect.) ect. ect ect ect disadvantages: ... i cant think of any... unless your stupid...[/quote'] only 1 disadvantage, you have less turns to live against a mill deck. but mill decks are to slow to matter.
