Sky Scourge Deck with Envoys

Megaworm

Recommended Posts

Well, this is a secondary attempt at Sky Scourge. I took out Enrise because his effect is lacking in power and since i'm doing Traditional Anyway, Chaos Sorcerer and BLS do better than Enrise so i added them. I need suggestions on better fiends and fairies to add because in all honesty, i don't know what the hell is out there that i'm missing out on.

In all honesty, this Deck is not good. It is slow compared to how fast other Traditional Decks can be. It is missing Allures and Trade-Ins. You have more than enough targets to add them in yet you dont do so.

Here's what I would go for:

Monsters: 21

1x Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End

1x Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning

1x Chaos Sorcerer

1x Dark Magician of Chaos

3x Sky Scourge Norleras

3x Celestia, Lightsworn Angel

3x Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress

3x Herald of Orange Light

2x Phantom of Chaos

1x Sangan

1x Witch of the Black Forest

1x Yata-Garasu

Spells: 17

3x Allure of Darkness

3x Solar Recharge

3x Trade-In

1x Pot of Greed

1x Graceful Charity

1x Painful Choice

1x Raigeki

1x Harpie's Feather Duster

1x Monster Reborn

1x Premature Burial

1x Dimension Fusion

Traps: 4

1x Torrential Tribute

1x Imperial Order

2x Solemn Judgment

The Lightsworns are here to add speed and mill any Fairies or LIGHT monsters you may need in your Graveyard. Allure and Trade-In ensure Norleras doesnt end up as a dead draw. Phantom of Chaos can borrow Norleras' effect if it ends up in the Graveyard so dont worry too much about discarding it. Keep in mind Celestia is a Fairy as well as a Lightsworn. 2300 ATK also means it could do over 1/4 damage if brought back with Dimension Fusion. Herald of Orange Light is your Synchro outlet. It should be the only one you need. The only problem with this, you wont have a very good chance at bringing out a Level 8 Synchro. Lightwave Tuning is not a good way to Synchro Summon at all so ignore it. It involves you spending 3 cards instead of 2 to just to Synchro Summon.

A Side Deck could just use broken Traditional cards like:

1x The Forceful Sentry

1x Confiscation

1x Delinquent Duo

1x Ring of Destruction

As well as other cards to help you:

2x Prohibition

1x Solemn Judgment

2x D.D. Crow (2 should be sufficient)

2x A Feather of the Phoenix (recovers a milled Yata-Garasu and gives you another way to execute the Yata-Garasu Lockdown)

And Monster Gate before Reasoning is not a good idea IMO. You could still Side both if you feel you need to but with the speed in here, you may not need them. I'm stumped as to what else to put in here so the rest of the Side Deck is really up to you.

I have mezuki incase of zombie world runners (there are tons of them)

and Dark Armed Dragon, just because there are enough of them in this deck to unleash hell, but this deck doesn't revolve around them (since i don't have an extra one anyway so i don't know why i put 2 instead of one)

and if i follow all the modifications as you said, will i have a better overall chance of beating a Traditional Tele-DAD rapefest deck or am i still miles away?
