I question the analysis that Gyzarus caused a serious spike in yugioh sales, in which case your reasoning that he would never be banned is incorrect. In any case, there's barely anywhere you can even buy PTDN anymore, all the money DAD makes is on the secondary market. The fact is, there have been many, many points where cards that made tons of money were banned. It's only a minority of players that own those cards, and focusing on them to the exclusion of the majority that don't have DAD and would prefer it wasn't around is bad economics. I wouldn't be criticizing my grammar when your post has "Really," instead of "Really?" and "O" instead of "Oh". There IS a sentence after the sentence you quoted from my original post and it explains that I don't think that the only cards worth playing are cards that take no skill, and you obviously thought I did, because of this: Cards that're "too good" are cards that need little to no skill to majorly affect the duel. Dark Ninja Posted December 30, 2008 Report Share Posted December 30, 2008 I think the silent strider is a nice card. It and the noisy gnat can be useful cards to help pull off a synchro summon. Strider can also help a powerful level 4 monster bypass gravity bind. I wouldn't recommend putting multiple copies in your deck however.
